Good first experience at Frango as a solo diner at lunch. Servers were very helpful with my questions. Busy the whole time I was there. I didn't have to wait long for a seat or food. Parking is quite difficult drove around a few times but got there eventually. They were also cleaning tables and bottles quickly so that's good to see. The chicken wasn't dry which is always a worry for me. Tasty and big enough for me. Big portion of crunchy fries were perfect. Crusty bread served warm with butter and olives is worth it. Salad didn't have the tastiest tomato or cucumber but fresh. Bottles of mayo and mayo hot sauce (not too hot) served on the table. Garlic sauce could be more garlicky but that's a personal choice. I had the passionfruit drink which is reminiscent of passiona but not as sweet. Keen to try desserts. Was told they're all made in house except the Portuguese tarts which are made for Frango stores and cooked in store to order. Burgers seemed a popular choice so shall try that next time. $30 or so total so moderate pricing.

Frangos, once the dependable go-to for a solid feed, has officially entered its flop era. Prices still scream premium, but the food? More like a passive-aggressive warning sign. Today’s chicken had the texture of overcooked ambition, and the fries? Honestly, I’ve had softer gravel. I’m not sure if they were triple-fried or just reheated by staring at the sun for several hours—but they were less “crispy” and more “prehistoric.” This is no longer a fluke—it’s a recurring culinary disappointment. If consistency is key, Frangos has lost the keys, the lock, and probably the door. Quality control seems like an optional side they forgot to serve. And look, I get that everyone has an off day. But when your food starts resembling battlefield leftovers, it’s time to re-evaluate more than just your salt levels. Attached: hard evidence of the great fry extinction. Proceed with caution. Photos attached to substantiate the facts aforementioned.

To be honest this place was quite nice. Lovely atmosphere and good music. I had ordered a half chicken and chips and salad for just under $20 eat in. Serving portions are very generous and personally i couldnt eat my whole meal, chicken was flavourful. But a little dry, fries were nice but a little under seasoned and the garlic bread was delicious, but they dont serve garlic sauce only mayo and chilli sauce. But I really enjoyed the warm complimentary bread and olives. That was unexpected but i was cheering cause who doesn't like free stuff. Overall was very happy with the service.

Walked out. Woeful customer service.

As a regular of Frango's (every other store) who frequently has work lunches ($150+) I had high hopes for my new local Frango's.

First fail - can't have our food unless you pay cash (really?). 'Use our ATM' - um no, have you read other reviews on here? It's shonky as. Can you get it any closer to the counter?

'ok so I'll have that pork belly on display right there, with salad, but if I sit on a table I can pay by card? Fine.'

Price now gone up from $15 to $28. Whatever, just feed me. I'll pay it.

10 minutes later - still no pork belly. It's literally right there in the bain marie getting drier every hour. Just put a piece on a plate and dump some salad on.

+10 minutes, still no pork belly but now I have bread and olives. 20 minutes elapsed, only 1 other patron in the restaurant. Mounds of pork belly and salad just sitting there on display. Staff busy chatting with one another.

Now I'm thinking you've got another 5 minutes by the stopwatch on my phone to literally flop some of that food on my plate. Is it really that hard?

5 minutes elapsed.

25 min waiting for precooked food. Forget it - I'll go to Watsup Bros where they actually care. I calculate I've dropped over $3k at Watsup Bros in the last 8 months. Thought I should spread that spend around a little but obviously this Frango's has demented management. I aint...

I am absolutely appauled at the second grade citizen treatment I experienced today at this store. Let me preface by saying, I have a mask exemption. I placed my order ahead of time to minimise time spent in store & I social distanced whilst there I arrived when indicated my order was ready for collection. I attended the counter, the server enquired about my lack of mask, in line with PHO I advised of my exemption. However after a judgemental stare was given I was ordered to wait for my order(which was not ready) outside. Which would be fine IF ALL persons waiting for orders were made to do this. HOWEVER, this was not the case as many others were allowed to remain inside awaiting collection of their orders.

THIS IS BLATENT DISCRIMINATION. In fact also ILLEGAL. Noone should be made to feel inferior or singled out based on disability or the like.

When private messaged on messenger, your response was less than apologetic & is clear you do not have an understanding of the anti discrimination act I have previously referred to. The fact you are trying to maraude your discrimination under the guise of health & safety of your staff, further shows your complete lack of understanding.

I am sorry to have supported your business over the years only to realise you have...

I've frequented this place quite often, averaging about 1-2 visits per week over the past couple of months. Unfortunately, I've noticed a glaring issue that significantly impacts the overall dining experience – inconsistency in food quality.

On numerous occasions, I've found the chicken to be disappointingly tough and nearly inedible, making up about 70% of my visits. However, there are rare occasions when the chicken is cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious. The lack of consistency is frustrating and greatly affects my enjoyment of the meals.

It's disheartening that the well cooked, tasty versions are few and far between. Consistency is key in any restaurant, and it's crucial for Frango to maintain the quality of their offerings to keep customers satisfied and returning.

Another issue I've encountered is with the fries. During busy times, it seems they're rushed, resulting in undercooked and sometimes half-raw fries. Please take your time and cook them properly!

This place definitely has the potential to deliver exceptional food, however the inconsistency in quality is a...
