UPDATED review: Went there yesterday 19/07/2023, which is 5 months after my initial review for the roast beef. We ordered the regular portion at $22 not the lunch special.
On that note, they have 100% changed their beef roast. This looked and tasted nothing like the previous roasts I've had there multiple times, it was hard, dry, cold and inedible. It was so hard to cut it literally felt like I was cutting through leather.
Now since I wrote my past review 5 months ago, I have been back multiple times for their roast and it's always been outstanding. Today was a huge let down.
To the management, why did you ruin something that was amazing in taste, that was so moist and fork tender. Stop cutting corners with cheaper cuts of meat, if you don't know how to cook and prepare them properly don't use them. What I was served today was not fit to even be served to my cats.
Your roasts are always a best seller. I am angry, because this was the place I kept raving about to friends and family and now, it's so mediocre.
Not to mention my order was taken wrong, I wanted potatoes but got mash, they now charge for extra Gravy $2 when they usually put a little extra. My plate has a big bowl of gravy because the staff ran out of small bowls, because they forgot to even put gravy on the plates.
The vegetables were tasty but there was barely any on the plate. No pumpkin, no brocoli and 1 measly cauliflower with a bunch of cabbage and carrots. Truly am disappointed and displeased. Keep this up, and you'll truly lose more customers.
They say a picture speaks 1000 words. Well, judge for yourselves at the variation of what I was served today compared to the last time I was there and how dry it was that not even Gravy could save it. The picture with the multiple plates is the recent photo. The other is how it used to be.

Went there with a mate, we ordered from the table. The food was actually pretty good. I ordered the roast beef plate, large portions, tasty veggies and when I asked for extra gravy, the server more than happily got me some. Such friendly customer service, loved it.
Only downside is it’s very dimly lighted, the roast was a little tough and I wish you could order drinks from your table, there was an option to order drinks but when clicking on it, there were no drinks displayed, perhaps they are getting ready to add that feature in the future. I definitely...
Read moreAs a costumer of this bistro for many years, we decided to celebrate my Birthday dinner here tonight 20/12, I must say I can't help but feel disappointed, the quality and flavour of the food have gone downhill drastically in a short amount of time, very unfortunate, the lady at the till was of no help at all, and had little to no customer service skills. We placed 2 separate orders at the till for our table, literally 1min apart resulting in a huge time difference of preparation, 5 of us had pretty much finished eating our meals by the time the rest of the family recieved their meals, yes we ordered apart, 1 min apart . The evening was a hit and miss, family ordered an assortment of dishes My pad Thai wasn't great in flavour but was ok, husband's hokkien stir fried noodle was good, daughter's carbonara pasta was bland Sons chicken schnitzel was below average, Mum & Dad had pasta marinara that they both enjoyed, grandmother's prawn and scallop rissoto was lacking flavour of any sort, it was more a rice puré mashed like baby food with out salt, my brother ordered scotch eye fillet and this had to be the most disappointing dish of the night, poor quality, poor taste, poor quantity followed by a high price. All in all I can't help but feel disappointed, where once we all enjoyed a meal, we will no longer be returning, unfortunately this location has upped prices and compromised quality and portion, wait staff not that wonderful either , they pretty much shoood us all out as soon as they could. Read moreWhere do I start, went to order two roast of the days for me and my father just to be told by "Danya" that I couldn't use two membership cards at the same time. I replied by saying that the following week they did it for me with no issues and asked had they changed how they operated since last week to which she replied with "no" and "what was the name of the staff member who processed it last week for me." At this stage, I felt like I was being interrogated, being a public defender I actually know what it is like to be interrogated and cross examined. I had almost enough points to cover both meals less 0.70, so I didn't want to make a big deal about it considering there was a line behind me but I told her that "well not everyone has a name badge and it's not like I would be expecting a problem" at this stage I pointed out that not even she had a name badge. The only reason why I knew her name is because I kept the receipt this time so I can write this review. I think it is really unfair that any policies that you have are not uniformly enforced and furthermore I felt like I somehow did something wrong?
Side note: I found the receipt from the previous week of the person who served me but I don't want to name them in case they get in trouble if they were not meant to scan both membership cards to redeem points.
