The chips are pretty bloody...

• Food below average. The buns here always seem to be stale and really hard. The meat patties are usually overcooked too, bordering on burnt. They are also really stingy with sauces and ingredients like avocado.

• Staff are pretty rude and inattentive, but then again, I don’t usually have high hopes when it comes to franchised hospitality venues. Our food was prepared then sat on the bench for about 10 minutes. The staff were very aware that it was ready to be taken out to the table, but they just ignored it. We ended up grabbing it ourselves. Note that it was not busy, as we were the only ones there.

• The “atmosphere” would probably be why this grill’d is far worse than others. There appears to be rodents, birds and/or other pests (?) due to the amount of excrement everywhere. Dead cockroaches as well.

The floor especially needs a good clean, oil from the deep fryer seems to have been mopped all over the floor? Who knows. In any case, the hygiene and cleanliness would not be...

My 12 year-old had food poisoning after eating a burger from this extremely dirty establishment last night (take away). He was violently sick, dizzy and even fainted after repeatedly vomiting for 3 hours. I nearly called the ambulance... This morning, I will contact the NSW Food Authority to make a formal complaint and I will also call the local council and newspaper about this outrageously filthy establishment, where there are no measures in place for staff hygiene, nor general cleanliness of the restaurant itself, neither any duty of care for customer safety. This is not the first time we've had issues here, last time my child slipped on their exremely dirty amd oily floor and cut open his knee - but none of the staff acknowledged what had happened, neither was there a Frst Aid kit so I could clean up his wound.... Girll'd head office never responded and they make it impossible to contact a human in their website... I will continue to update...
