I went to DY shop Tuesday with a plastic bag to return some of the rubber bands I have received with takeaways. I still have about 20 more. I told them to tell the manager to tell Head Office that I will NEVER be back. Absolutely disgusted with the treatment I received on #Grilld s Facebook page . I asked a simple question and was not answered . I wasted the entire day trying to find out one simple thing , that #Grilld could have answered within a minute. But no. They were having fun, allowing the Vegan trolls to verbally abuse anyone who wasn't happy about meat free Monday . I asked a simple question and After a minute , I had trolls laughing at me and saying things like - " let's all do the Marcia Allen tears,", and " what a sooky baby " ... " Get over it - it's one day.", all with laughing emicons next to my question and tagging people to it, who then verbally abused me for eating meat ! The attacks were relentless to ANYONE who disagreed with No meat Monday .. people were verbally abused . I was followed to other pages. Told I was a disgusting human being for eating meat. All the time , #Grilld didn't answer me. They replied to others.... So I tried asking on those posts. I tried hard to explain how important it was to know, as foods can kill me. I was told " can you be anymore dramatic " ALL THE WHILE - STILL NOT TOLD BY GRILL'D WHAT PLANTS IN THE PLANT BASED BURGERS. . I explained I MUST KNOW the plant based burger ingredients. I'm anaphylactic shock allergic to MANY foods. I got called a liar by the trolls. I explained I was told that #Grilld were NOT removing the meat BURGERS just adding the plant based burger. . I explained #Grilld had lied, not me... STILL NOT ANSWERED BY GRILL'D .. . I put Epipen photo on a f.b. page. Still #Grilld hadn't told me ingredients. I hsd one troll tagging others saying " this is the best excuse yet Lol gotta have a look at this " ( regarding my allergies ) I should not have had to BEG GRILL'D to find out what was in the plant based burger. But you MADE ME , look and feel like a leper ..... #Grilld then say it's on their website BUT my mobile was having trouble getting to the site... Why couldn't they just answer me? WHY not just post the ingredients!!!! ( having too much fun abusing loyal customers - ex-customers ...) I had 6 people meeting me at DY Grill'd Monday , but had to know the ingredients .. it should have been answered immediately . Instead, they sat back and allowed a group of vegans to terrorise anyone who wasn't happy about meat free Monday...I am Not happy about not being able to get a meat burger on Mondays . I come to DY on Monday and get same BURGERS, Almighty and Simply and regular chips ever Monday . Never Tuesday. . I don't want plant based as I have anaphylactic shock to a LOT of plants. I cannot eat any fish or any nuts . I don't have that luxury of choice for foods . I have a VERY LIMITED CHOICE OF FOODS and am FORCED to know what is in all foods . I was born allergic to everything except carnations milk and oats. I had allergies eczema and asthma. I grew up being treated like a leper, and the abuse that was allowed to be heaped upon anyone who wasn't happy about meat free Monday was a disgrace . It's brought back PAINFUL hurtful memories of my childhood abuse and I have been in tears since . #Grilld should never have allowed it. I won't be told WHEN I can and can't eat meat by #Grilld or their vegan army. I deleted most of my comments as the trolls were following me and I was forced to block 50+ people. Read moreWe were the only customers in restaurant. Staff appeared to having a great time socializing. We asked for filthy outside table to be wiped clean, as music inside was uncomfortably load. Our table and chairs were wiped with a wet cloth without use of santising products & remained wet. I then needed to wipe wet table and my wet seat dry with several paper napkins; which turned black. Clearly hygiene isn’t a priority at Grilled Dee Why. The waitress went for a bit of a rest & lie down in a booth, whilst a pigeon enjoyed a buffet lunch off an outside table still scattered with plates and left-overs. That table remained un-cleared throughout our visit, despite lack of customers. I was thirsty & got up and went inside to request water. The water glasses arrived & they were soiled inside. The lid & outside of bottle of water were soiled & water looked murky. We chose not take the risk of drinking the water! My hamburger arrived & was horribly overcooked inside & out. I enjoy crispy bacon, but this bacon was black! They somehow forgot my friend’s order despite us being the only customers at that time! Twenty minutes after I’d finished eating (I’m a slow eater), my friend’s order arrived. Waiter didn’t bother to take my empty plate. Sadly Dee Why “Grilled” did not provide a good meal nor a sanitary environment. Staff appeared poorly trained, lacking in initiative & devoid of any customer service skills or cooking expertise. I then called Deewhy grilled to discuss and asked if I could speak to the general manager about the quality of food. I asked for an email address and the two young women told me ‘nothing would be done and we won’t look at your email’ even when I was willing to send images of the food I received. They then promoted me to contact Uber eats, when clearly it was an issue with food not the delivery. They were extremely rude, didn’t listen to what I was asking of them and passing the phone around with immature comments to my responses. I’ve ordered many times and been happy with my deliveries but today we’ve decided we won’t purchase from this place again purely on their customer service and immaturity. We hope you can find more staff who are willing to be better at customer service and get back to doing great...
