Just now, Sunday 17th December 2017 around 9pm I ordered a reg nachos with extra filling on top. I sat and waited and then grabbed my food and made my way home, as soon as I got home I opened my box and anticipated nachos and a whole load of extra filling.... Turns out that wasn't the case it turns out I just brought a reg nachos with no extra filling The bag felt heavy but not that heavy didn't seems to notice that but I felt I got ripped off my $3 extra. I have been to this gyg a few times and I have been loyal to them and always thought of them as my number 1 spot for mexican food because everytime I order extra filling I get what I ordered and I'm very satisfied about my purchase. But things like this really do make an impact on a shop if you do screw up a order and make a customers vision of gyg less appealing and worst cases never come back. I myself do work in hospitality at the moment so I do understand both sides but since this extra filling option is $3 I do expect extra filling not a standard portion. If it was the case that filling was running low then it's your responsibility to cook more not put whatever is there in the brain and think it's "good enough" to serve that's just showing a very bad attitude to work. If the extra was $1.50 I wouldn't complain to much but since it's $3 it's more on the premium side of extras so I really just want to let your employees know that if they ordered something online and payed for express delivery and the package arrived a week later and the extra was $5 how would you feel? You be ticked off because u didn't feel that the extra 5 was put in to account and basically you just gave it away for free. That's the feeling I have right now while writing this so all in all take your customers orders seriously and give them the service that...
Read morehey look, I dunno if this is a practical joke or something but every time I go to this store I ask "no pico de gallo and no guacamole, please" and almost always there's something that's explicitly not on my order in the food they give me. what's astounding though, is that today I asked for the same thing, no pico and no guac, and there's guacamole but no tomatoes. how is that possible that they put one but not the other there? I don't know, must be sabotage or something. "but Paladog," I hear you say, "why don't you just learn to eat guacamole and tomatoes?" well to that I say why give customers an option to customise their order if you're going to ignore that request anyway? but hey, who knows. maybe I'm crazy or something. forget the possibility that I might have an allergy or something, no that must not be important enough for you guys to switch off autopilot mode. guess that's my problem then, hey. I'd stop eating here but mexican food is a pain to make in the kitchen anyway so I guess this is just something I need to put up with or something. Especially considering with my order earlier today I repeated "no pico no guac" no fewer than 3 times and even had the cashier repeat it back to me, but none of that really translated into results since there's still a great big heaping pile of stinky guacamole on my enchilada as I write this.
TL;DR please stop putting guacamole and tomatoes on my...
Read moreI witnessed an incident at Guzmán y Gómez where an employee verbally mistreated a delivery driver.
The situation began when the driver questioned why his order wasn’t ready after waiting for 20 minutes. The employee, visibly upset, started shouting repeatedly: "Where do you want me to get the food from? Where do you want me to get the food from?" However, when another person, apparently a supervisor, arrived to assess the situation, they found that the food was already prepared and immediately handed it to the driver.
This incident highlights the lack of a sense of responsibility and professionalism from the employee toward both the company and her colleagues. It was also disrespectful to the delivery driver, who was working under the rain to fulfill his job and represent the customer.
I believe improvements are necessary to avoid such situations. It's crucial to foster a more respectful, professional, and humane approach toward everyone involved in the work process, ensuring a better experience for...
