A small garden within Cumberland Hospital grounds in Westmead. It’s best to visit the garden during spring, around second week of September when all the flowers bloom. While not currently a public park, Wistaria Garden is open to the public and you can enter year round from Parramatta Park. Entry point to the garden is through the top end of Parramatta Park. The Wistaria Gardens festival in Parramatta Park is a beautiful sight with the cherry blossoms and a variety of flowers blooming in the garden beds, including Ranuncula's, Primula's, Bluebells, Daffodils and many others. We enjoyed some Spanish- style baguettes, gelato & coffee. I was able to push the wheel-chair around on the paths, although it was difficult in parts where the old bitumen has been lifted up by tree roots and cracked.
