A very homey style Korean restaurant in west Ryde, alongside Victoria street (not far from the coles express/ Maccus ) The waitress has very limited English, so we pretty much point on the menu AB’s tell her what we wanted. We ordered large beef soup and sweet chill fried chicken ( with sauce on the side. ) The beef soup was nice and homey, definitely no MSG, it is slightly plain if you are looking for something more flavoursome. But it is something I would be able to have very often, especially in winter. The fried chicken was crispy however I think it was too heavily battered, and there was very strong cooking wine flavour in the sauce. Not quite what we were expecting. The side dishes, especially kimchi was sooooo good, we asked for refill and the staff was very nice and refilled us . Overall experience was great, it was not busy on Friday night, and it seems the customers were the regulars, there was a old couple who seems go be the owner were friendly as well. Menu is fairly simple, Would probably come back from other soup.

Traditional Korean food at restaurant quality but with homemade feel. Definitely all made on site, including the banchan (side dishes), with uncommon offerings such as the tofu/kimchi, which I've never seen in a restaurant except as a sold dish with pork. Even the radish that comes with the fried chicken is homemade. There are only 15 or so dishes and all the ones we tried were fantastic and authentic (some dishes even greater than expected as they put their own twist on it, like the stir-fried blood sausage, which had added boiled pork and liver for extra meat in an already delicious sauce). Service can be a bit slow, as it seems family-run and only an elderly gentleman seems to run front of house with the rest preparing everything in the kitchen, but the food makes it worth it, and even slow, it is attentive and he asks if refills are wanted before plates can be emptied. tl;dr go for great, authentic Korean food

My husband and I went there for dinner last week based on the reviews. Oh boy! The moment we walked in, the couples smile made us feel so welcoming. It has a homie vibe and after a long day that’s exactly the place you are looking for. We have ordered tofu stew, beef stew, fried chicken and seafood pancake. The stew has a very umami flavour and just won my heart straight away. Pancake was the best so far- doesn’t feel like it has oil in it. So GOOD! Fried chicken was also very good. This has become our new favourite restaurant. We just loved our time there. Very humble couple- looking at their faces gave us a very good calming feeling. Thank you to the owners Forgot to take photos of pancake and fried chicken.
