Great place for intermediate and advanced skaters but there are many kids below the age of 10 who go in all sorts of random directions and crash into the skilled teens and they aren’t watching. The children’s parents don’t care either so it can get really heated. That’s why the teens and groups of boys with tattoos looking like their in some sort of gang love to bully and swear at the children because they quit being nice. It’s a shame really. They deliberately swear and threaten much younger kids to get them to go away. I have seen numerous kids being knocked down and they couldn’t careless. The culture of that bunch of guys is just sickening. We have been to lots of others skate park around Sydney but that group is just one of the worst. This is a cause for great worry.
West Ryde Council should enforce discipline and may be occassional inspection by Rangers and notice of fine and warnings should be given.
No helmet, no skating in MP skating park.
Otherwise, brain injury to one person will be one too many.
I hope, if children don't have enough sense, there parents or guardians have enough sense.
