Visited the place today after a lead from one gentle you-tuber,

I have been looking for a good faluda outlet since long, went all over till Auburn to find the good outlet, didn't knew it is close to my place itself. All those I tried till now at other places were not up to the mark, either too sweet or too much watery.

Really good variety of faluda at this bar. Great thing is every ice-cream and kulfi is made in-house and some of the flavors are the ones you won't get commonly in AU, like chiku ice-cream. Quite an awesome range of Indian flavors to our surprise. Indian in the way that, Alphonso mango pulp is sourced from India itself, as I came to know from their YouTube video. The owner, sorry I missed collecting his name, gave us an opportunity to taste some of his best made ice-cream flavors. Thank you Sir. Presentation of the food (yes, the dry ice presentation for Faluda was one of the delightful ones) and service was really good for each item.

Over that, all items are gelatin free, which is a must for vegetarians. The ice-creams that we may get from some grocery stores, there is a good chance that those may be having gelatin in it (for those who don't know, Gelatin is made from decaying animal hides, boiled crushed bones, and the connective tissues of cattle and pigs.) or eggs in it, but thanks to the owner of the bar who makes all these ice-creams himself, completely gelatin free and vegetarian. Awesome taste, not over-sweetened at all, not like the over-sweetened ones we get from the stores in box packings.

Sugar-free ice-cream :):) is a must to try.

We had 5 different items but even after having a good meal, not feeling stuffed and heavy.

Momos were freshly made and served in a well authentic way. We took time in eating those, but it stayed hot for well 10 to 15 mins, which is not expected in this cold weather. Tried the "original" variety of momos only this time, but will try other vareties during future visits. Giving a nice color to each verity of momos is a great innovative idea.

The owner was awesome in welcoming and staff was well presented.

After We had out first round of meal, I went to order some other items and within that time, to my surprise, staff was quick in cleaning up the table and no leftovers were seen on any table. Really appreciate.

Good range of Tea(s) available. Though we were not fortunate enough to taste the Kashmiri Tea, but Zafrani Tea was really tasty for someone who would like a new and strong taste of tea. Will try the Kashmiri Tea for sure next time I go there.

Finally, I could taste some slim finger chips (yes they were slimmer than those we get from the grocery store, so I believe they were made in-house as well) that were not fried in animal fat or some oil in which fish or chicken had already been fried. Yes, actually like home-made finger chips with no chicken or fish like smell in it.

With so much more to try yet, will return for sure.

The best experience is when you get delighted. This was one such...

I usually don't write reviews as it can be quite detrimental to a business but this was something that needed to be bought to attention. We've been going to icy-spicy since it opened and have had an amazing experience every time, the food is amazing, the ice cream is great and the falooda is to die for. unfortunately last night's customer service was so bad to the point that we will not be visiting the location ever again. We called specially for falooda as it is quite popular and runs out quite easily and pre ordered. When we get there the girls working are not paying attention, we barely place our order and get told that the noodles for the falooda are finished and they will be making more so it will take 5-10 mins. We have no problem waiting and make our payment. 10 mins later one of the other staff comes out and quite rudely says that noodle are finished and we will not be making your falooda. I found this behaviour quite unprofessional and questioned the way they were talking to a customer, and why the payment was processed if the noodles were finished from 10:30 (as they claimed). This made the situation worse to the point where the staff was making remarks about us thinking that we could not hear them. We got told that the store closes at 12:30 so we were sitting with our family, at 12:10 one of the girls approached us and very rudely told us to leave. we politely asked if they were open till 12 or 12:30 and she said 12 and that were were already 10 mins late in leaving. I again pointed out that it was our mistake that we got the times wrong but this was no way to talk to a customer let alone talk to anyone. Never have we had an experience like this before, and it was quite disrespectful. The old staff that used to work this location was wonderful, however the girls from last night really need to be trained with customer service skills. Needless to say we will not be visiting again this...

Change of review December 2024: It seems like they don’t care much about the customers any more or probably are getting busy with adding more dishes to their menu. I’d rather go to other place for ice creams now rather than coming here. There never has been any sort of consistency with the ice cream flavours. Since last 3 times, we had to go back to the counter to inform the attendant about a weird flavour & bad taste to which they tasted & admitted it as well. My review may change again if we feel the quality is back to what it was initially as I have done in the past. I strongly urge the owner to stick to what they specialise in and maintain the quality as this is a consistent issue with restaurants here, they keep adding new items to the menu & the quality keeps going down.

The review had to change after my second visit… (To the owner) just as you asked what can be done to change the ratings from 4 to a 5 star rating, I have done that already now 🙂. I visited yesterday again & tried maggie & cheesy corn steamed momos. They were delicious indeed. I can argue with the pricing for maggie considering the quantity but for now, I’d give it a pass with a minor negative considering the quality of food & ice creams. You do have a regular customer now for late night visits.

Below is review after my first visit: Well I came here for Guava icecream with chilli & salt sprinkled on top & I got it. The taste is very close to what I had in India. I never expected to get something like this here. For sure the review will change after my next visit as I’ll need to taste maggie, momos & deserts here. The best thing I liked here was that it’s open till late which...

We had an amazing experience here. We're a bit hesitant before coming here but once we came, we felt that the visit was totally worthwhile and money well spent. Let's start with the food. They have a limited menu but hopefully will soon expand it. But what I liked about the limited menu was that what they are offering is really made well and is just perfect. Amazing flavours and good presentation, 2 key points which they have focused on and it will help them succeed. Now let's come to the star product of the shop and that is their desserts 🍨. Been in Sydney a very long time and believe, this was the 1st time in these many years I got to eat real authentic Indian style icecream 🍦 with Indian flavours like Chiku, Guava, Chilli, Paan and many others. I even tried their Falooda. So far the best in Sydney with generous amount of nuts and noodles and ice cream in it. Now last but not the least, customer service. Everybody in the staff including the owner were very welcoming, humble, polite and generous. One of the best customer services we had. Moreover 1 other point which I would add here is that the staff was very presentable, good communication skills and clean. Many of our other Indian take away or eatery, they don't concentrate on this aspect. The place was clean even though it was super busy. I highly recommend everyone to try them once and do try their faloodas. I wish them all the best for their coming future and will just give them a simple advice which is be the same and keep your service and quality the same in future. This will help you build a regular clientele.

My visit to Icy Spicy ice parlour was truly a treat for the senses. The moment I walked in, I was captivated by the charming ambiance. The cozy seating and soothing music created a perfect setting for indulging in some ice cream. I decided to try their vanilla custard, and I was pleasantly surprised. It was smooth, creamy, and had a rich vanilla flavor that was just the right balance of sweet. The texture was heavenly, and I couldn't resist taking another bite. As if that wasn't enough, I also ordered the Oreo chocolate ice cream. It was a delightful combination of velvety chocolate ice cream with generous chunks of Oreo cookies. The contrast of the crunchy cookies and the creamy ice cream was pure bliss. What stood out the most was the attention to detail in their ice cream. It was evident that they take great care in crafting their flavors, resulting in a memorable taste experience. Overall, Icy Spicy is a gem of an ice cream parlour, offering not only scrumptious treats but also a cozy and inviting atmosphere. Whether you're an ice cream aficionado or just looking for a delightful dessert, I highly recommend paying a visit to Icy Spicy – you won't be disappointed!
