TERRIBLE customer service. I ordered two main meal curries via Menulog and asked if there were any peanuts in the food because of an allergy.

The main meals allows you to select three different curries. I ordered a mild Butter Chicken for the kids, a spicy Beef Vindaloo and medium spice Sagg Tikka as a part of this main meal deal. When it arrived, the three curries were mixed together in one container! Nowhere on the site did it state that the curries would be mixed together.

I called to check, the person on the line said that this is the way they came, and no one had complained about it before. I suggested that they need to update their website so that future customers would know to order mild curries separately if they wish not to have it mixed together with other curries.

When I said that the children could not eat their dinner because the mild Butter Chicken was mixed with the spicy Vindaloo, he just laughed and said that I could pay for another Butter Chicken.

Please order your curries separately if you want them unmixed, or better yet, do not give Indian Home Diner Summer Hill your custom!

Very very bad service.. Writing the review out of total shock of how a restaurant can deliver three curries (2non veg and 1 veg curry) in one box. Do they lack common sense??? When I call them up they talk with attitude stating that this is Australia and not India. I was shocked to hear this on top of what they delivered. If you don’t have the basic courtesy to talk to a customer, please don’t run a hospitality business. I am not sure which law in Australia allows them to deliver three curries in one box. I know that I am in Australia and I don’t need someone to remind me of that. If there were some higher place or forum to complain about it, I would have done it. If such is the delivery mechanism, please update your menu saying that it will be delivered in the same box. If u want to charge more, please Add the same in the menu. Uber eats should remove them from listing as they lack the basic level of food packaging and manners. I don’t know how I will find the daal from the mix of butter chicken and chicken curry.. god help these people and someone talk some sense...

Went to grab some dinner tonight. Whilst waiting for naan to be cooked we noticed cockroaches walking around in the Bain Marie... We then noticed lots of cockroaches walking up the walls and along the counter. We mentioned to the lady behind the counter that there were cockroaches in the Bain Marie she reached in and squashed them with her finger. Absolutely repulsed we requested a refund for our food and explained the reason why, the lady said "I cannot refund you as I have mixed the curries in the container". We kindly explained why we no longer wished to eat the food because of the cockroaches. A man came out from the kitchen and produced a receipt for a recent pest control service and said the cockroaches were running around because of the pest control. Eventually, reluctantly the staff gave us a refund and we left.
