J.M. Formula — Restaurant in Sydney

Whilst I've been a student on placement at the hospital across the road, the J.M. formula crew have been my go to pit stop to keep me fuelled and going throughout the day. In my 6 months coming here the team has always met me with a welcome smile and done their best to get me a quality cup of coffee as quickly as possible.

I'm grateful for some of the best coffees of my life, the friendly staff, upbeat music, and fast service.

Huge shout out to the barista Richard. He always made time for a quick chat and remembered the things that we talked about. It's clear to me that his passion for customer service is more than training and savvy business sense, but a genuine sign of his warm, friendly personality and his commitment to looking after others.

My stepson was in RNS Hospital for a few weeks in intensive care recently. We were tired of eating out of takeaway containers and just wanted a decent meal with proper knives and forks. Seline (sp?) and the team were so lovely and let me borrow some plates/knives/forks to go with our Eggs Benedict (which were delicious). Obviously it was quite an emotional time as we didn't know if he'd recover from his head injury so Seline talked to me whilst I waited for the meal to be prepared and she was so calming and compassionate. It seems like such a small thing, but in that moment, her friendliness and the care they took in boxing up everything so I could carry it back easily was just the best thing. They really went out of their way to provide an amazing service and it's something I'll always remember with a smile in that difficult time. Thank you, you really did make our day that day ❤️❤️ P. Really amazing food. The pictures don't do the food justice. The staff are very warm and friendly and the service is efficient. It was busy when we went for lunch on a Wednesday (that's a good sign). The chicken burger works so well, the saucy slaw, the tartare, melty cheese, thigh chicken and the jalapenos all blend in well with the mill bun. The house ramen was very refreshing (rare for a ramen) and had great flavours. They also have cold brew coffees too. Can't wait to go back here!

Went back the following week. The ramen is still awesome (they remembered us, and we also saw a regular from the prior week). The miso mushroom breakfast was sumptuous.
