I review caesar salads that I eat around the world. Today I tried Jamaica Blue's caesar salad, after trying some of their other dishes in the past. Unfortunately I found this caesar salad to be disappointing in comparison to others I've tried. It was different in many ways to a traditional caesar salad, and while I can at times appreciate restaurants offering their own take on a traditional menu item, the additions, such as coleslaw, didn't really add anything to the dish. I really appreciated the egg and sprouts on top, and the lettuce and parmesan were good, however they were overshadowed by an overly sweet sauce and nontraditional elements. Although I won't be ordering the caesar salad again, their tea and mango smoothies are great, as well as their Eggs Your Way, which I will order again in the future, and the waiters are very friendly.
