KFC Hornsby Food Court — Restaurant in Sydney

I've been to this KFC a number of times. Generally, it's pretty good. However, my most recent visit was very poor - mainly the food, which is what this review focuses on.

I ordered a meal from the app. I consumed the meal with no immediate issues. However, later in the day, I began to feel queasy. I went to the bathroom. Not long after that I vomited. Over the course of the next 12-18 hours I was sick at total of 4 times. This seemed like a pretty clear case of food poisoning to me, so I reported the issue using the provided feedback method online.

KFC refunded the cost of my meal, which came to $8, equating to about $2 per time I was sick, and about the same per day that it took me to recover. While I appreciated the refund, it felt like a token gesture of goodwill, so I was pretty disappointed.

All things considered, unfortunately, I would find it difficult to contemplate a return visit or recommend this KFC...

I would love to give this place a higher rating as I frequent this place almost everyday. However I have noticed some of the workers like to complete the orders chronologically, rather the most efficient way. I usually just order a frozen raspberry drink and I have to wait almost thirty minutes because they are completing larger orders first! In my personal experience as an ex maccas employee, we are always taught to just do the smaller orders so people aren't made to wait. Apart from that, I must commend one of their workers by the name "COVID" who works extremely fast and efficiently, completing the orders super quickly and well. Don’t recommend. The wait took over 20 minutes and when they called my name it was incredibly hard to hear. I had to walk right next to the person to hear them. Then they asked me many things which I couldn’t understand and when they gave me my food they didn’t give me any drinks. After getting our drinks I realised that they didn’t give me much of my frozen Mountain Dew also they initially refused to give me my Pepsi but after asking they finally gave it to me.
