I ordered the special, the Beef Bowl, a small flat-white coffee, and a slice of carrot cake. The friendly staff efficiently took my order. There is plenty of seating inside the venue, as well as undercover seating outside.

The coffee arrived first, along with the carrot cake, which I saved for after the main. The coffee was nice and hot, well prepared with a smooth and creamy texture. One of the best cups of coffee I've had recently. The Beef Bowl, while looking rather plain, was actually quite delicious. The beef was hot and tender, and had been paired with a sauce or marinade to enhance its flavour. The brown rice was nice and fluffy, the cucumber slices were fresh and crisp, the tomato had a nice flavour to it. The entire dish was unexpectedly satisfying. The carrot cake tasted nice and fresh,...

I went in to order at cafe florence with a large group of my family and 5 minutes later my elderly Aunty came to order a small hot chocolate. She was refused service because apparently they were closing. We were in a big group and the staff were continuing to make our drinks, we told them she was with us and that they could simply make a small extra drink for her. They then continued to serve other customers 20 minutes after my aunty had tried to order because apparently they were her ‘friends’ who we later found out didn’t even know her. I don’t know why they turned us away especially if they could’ve got potential business. This is appalling especially towards the senior citizens of Australia and not reaching the basic standards of customer service. Bad service, Bad food, Bad review. Never...

Cafe Florence is located in the open piazza at Hornsby, just minutes from the station and near one of the entrances to Westfield Hornsby. For Saturday morning breakfast I ordered the light breakfast, which was sadly light in quality. It consisted of a hashbrown, sauteed mushrooms, and admittedly it's hard to go wrong with either of these, but the grilled tomato while still warm was barely grilled at all. The scrambled eggs were satisfactory, but no better than if they were home made. The two slices of toasted turkish bread were okay too, but I must remember to ask for no butter. Some cafes serve butter on the side, but it's become apparent this...

1. Pay at the counter before seated. Still pricy like seat-in cafe. 2. Cheap ingredients 3. Cold 4. Cheap atmosphere 5. Coffee was awful, cold and not enough milk frothing, 6. My order came all after 3 ppl finished thier food 7. Half of my waffle was flat as thin bread. They overpressed. Aidi cheapest sandwich bread, cheap vanilla ice cream, all ingredients.... paid 90$ for 2kids and 2 adults. SO REGRET TO CHOOSE THIS CAFE FOR WEEKEND BRUNCH.
