Came here on an outing with the family to Hornsby Westfield. Decided to grabs some lunch as we were getting hungry. We got a table straight away even though it was quite busy when we arrived. We only had two menus between four people so it was a bit awkward. They have some awesome meals up on the specials board too, so check it out.

You need to order at the counter. The staff lady was very helpful and was able to answer all the questions we had. This made it very easy for us to make up our minds on what we wanted to get.

The food came out in good time. The wife got a chicken melt with a side of fries. I got the fish (flat head), chips and salad. The wife loved the chicken melt. It came with avocado and sliced tomato. Very filling, very fresh. Did not disappoint in the slightest.

My fish and chips were terrific. The fries was cooked to exactly how I like it - hot fluffy potato on the inside and super crunchy on the outside. The battered flat head was amazing, crunchy batter and moist fresh fish inside. This was one of the few times I enjoyed my salad. Tartar was a little runny but tasted great.

We had a cappuccino and chai latte. The drinks are big by Australian standards. My chai latte was silky smooth with a rich spicy taste. I'd happily come back here again as the cooks know what they are doing and are very proud of their work.

Very chill, very cool. Five...

Horrible service. Walked in to a staff member removing all the menus from the tables around 4.30pm - I asked if they were closing soon as I didn't want to drink my tea feeling pressured to leave and would have been happy to go elsewhere if they were just straight up with me.. instead mumbling they insisted that they could still serve us. I asked again what time do they close? And they said 5.30pm. Thinking I had loads of time I Went up to the counter to order a drink, the response was 'so ur not ordering food? We can tell the kitchen to close now?'... way to make a customer feel welcome... after sitting down for less than 20min the staff then decided to stack all the chairs directly surrounding our table making it impossible to have a conversation. Don't see why they couldn't start with the other end of the shop. They even took the salt and pepper off our table first before touching any other table - just to make sure we knew we were inconveniencing them... completely frustrating experience. Please don't say ur open and encourage us to come in if ur going to give zero service, attitude and stack chairs all around us. I'd rather go elsewhere... and will never...

Upon entering the cafe, one of the staff was very rude towards my baby and I. It was a quiet Tuesday morning, it was during the shopping center quiet hour, people are calm and strolling at the shopping center, and one of the staffs was rushing his way through, and spoke rudely when I slowed down and turned to check on my baby, the staff looked very angry and frustrated.

After the incident, I went into the cafe to let the boss know that his staff was ill- mannered, and I heard profanity word. Instead of taking a constructive feedback, he argued saying his staff has been working for 10 years and customers have praised him. Basic customer service is obviously lacking, and from what I see in the reviews, some have also commented how rude the two men working there are. And it reflects. The cafe was quiet. There are plenty of cafes in Westfield Hornsby, just spend your money elsewhere where...

The coffee was great, but I couldn't rate the food higher because they were overpriced, considering they were not extremely delicious, just meeting basic expectations. I get that inflation means everything is pricey now, but to see this plain plate of kids pancake after paying $12 was disappointing. For $12, some other cafes have 2-3 pancakes and put some bananas and strawberries atop too. Not impressed and won't be back again.

On Saturday afternoon 2pm, Paid $5.50 for a regular flat white (plus card surcharge), and it was honestly one of the worst coffees I’ve had at that price point. Tasted more like a $2 coffee from a Vietnamese hot bread shop. To top it off, they had a barista certificate awkwardly displayed next to the machine — a red flag in itself. I’ve never seen a good café feel the need to showcase that. It screams insecurity, not quality.

Pleasant obliging staff. Had the Eggs Benny with Smoked Salmon. Generous serving, well presented but with perhaps a bit too much sauce (sorry, had a couple of bites before I took the pic!). Washed it down with real tea, bottomless cup, plenty of flavours/varieties from which to choose. All in all more than satisfactory and very good value fir money.
