I'm giving this place 2 stars—not because of the food (which was okay), but because of the incredibly disappointing customer service. I spent $359 on an order I made via phone call. I arrived about 15 minutes later to pick it up, only to wait almost an hour before receiving my food. I finally asked about the status of my order, and instead of an apology, one of the staff members insisted that I had never placed one. He actually tried to convince me that I was mistaken. Yeah ok. I have the call record saved to my phone. An apology for the wait would have been nice but I guess gaslighting me seemed like the better option. Fine, whatever. I finally got my food and drove 40 minutes home. The seafood boil was decent, though not as good as it used to be. One odd issue: cold, salty water would spill out when we cracked the crab legs. Also, the mixed bag of seafood isn't what it used to be. It used to include the "bugs"/crawfish looking things but I wasn't too concerned because I know everything has been getting more expensive. The real disappointment, though, was the salad. For $12 each, we received tiny portions in regular cardboard takeout boxes. The photos don't anccurately represent how little salad we received; there was so little salad it could be eaten in just a bite or two. The quality wasn't great either. This meal was supposed to be a treat for my family. We haven’t gone out in a long time, and using the bonus from my partner’s job, we wanted to order from what used to be our favourite spot. Sadly, it didn’t live up to expectations. Between the poor service and the overpriced, underwhelming food, I can confidently say I won’t be ordering from here again. Trendy doesn’t make up for lackluster service. If I’m going to spend over $350 on a meal, I expect at least a basic level of professionalism and courtesy. The garden salad was just sad. Please avoid ordering it. Of all the things to skimp out on, the salad was not something I'd expect to be lacking in quantity. Spend your money elsewhere if you want to receive good customer service and eat well. There are plenty of places that offer better value *and* treat their customers with respect.

Went in on Wed 14 April 21 (family X 4 Adults) Quickly greeted by staff as we entered. As first timers we had no idea what to expect, but Ravi (owner/manager) was great in explaining everything and even stopped us from ordering too much. We decided on the Kickin wings, Mixed bag (Shabang 4 sauce mix) and Blue swimmer crabs (Garlic sauce). We did want to get the Kickin Shrimp Martini but were told that we already had a good amount of food ordered. A must is wearing the bibs and gloves provided as you can then really enjoy your meal without worrying about dropping or spilling or even splashing the person next to you. The food came out quickly and was poured onto the table by Christine who was very helpful and accommodating to our needs throughout the meal. We enjoyed it all and were glad we listened to Ravi about how much to order. Thank-you for a great night, good service and banter. We will definitely be recommending Kickin Inn to our friend and family. Good Luck with your Kickin Inn opening in Kirrawee. The only thing I would like to see for the future is the possibility of a container or something to place the left over shells and bones in.

I was keen to try kickin in for the first time and honestly it wasnt even all that the lobster was hard and chewy the atlantic king crab was all mushy and service was really slow waited about an hour to get our food and it wasnt really that busy Also Your prices are rediculous💀 $361 for 2 people like if the portioning was bigger and the food wasnt the way i explained it was then yeah fair enough, but it is way over priced for the amount you get we can get the same amount from a fish market for like 70-130 dollars max its insanely expencive Prawns are way over priced But it was the nicer option out of the lot Your craw fish are way to small and for a kilo, thats kind of a rip off to the amount you get as majority of the craw fish goes to waste as you can only eat the tail One thing i will say i love is the fact its all gluten free which is a major Pro as the owners took dietary needs for people into consideration Will i come back probualy not unless i get a fat paycheck along with the food being alot fresher than it was today, And if the prices go down its Way to expencive

I recently visited Kickinn Bankstown RSL with some mates who highly recommended it, especially after we had a decent experience at their venue in Canley Vale. Unfortunately, our dining experience this time left much to be desired. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a promotional offer of $70 for all-you-can-eat, which seemed like a great deal. However, we quickly learned that there was a 1.5-hour time limit to enjoy this offer. We felt this would be ample time, but what we didn’t expect was the lengthy wait for our food. It took nearly 50 minutes for our first order to arrive, which felt excessive given the promised timeframe. To add to the frustration, we wanted to place our order for the next round while eating our first meal, but we were told we needed to finish our current meal before placing a new order. This put us in a difficult position: we were already under pressure due to the time constraint, and now we had to rush through our meal just to ensure we could order before time ran out. Even with a half-hour extension granted to us after our first meal arrived, we still felt rushed and stressed, which significantly detracted from the enjoyment of our dining experience. Unfortunately, the food did not meet expectations either. While some of the sauces were hot, the seafood was consistently cold. Each time we cracked open a crawfish, cold water would spill out, and when biting into a prawn, it was often lukewarm rather than hot. This was disappointing and further contributed to our overall dissatisfaction with the meal. While the staff were friendly and accommodating, it felt as though the restaurant, whether due to new management or operational policies, was more focused on the time limit than on providing a relaxed and enjoyable dining experience. Overall, I left feeling disappointed and will likely not return. Dining out should be an enjoyable experience, not one where you're constantly glancing at the clock and hurrying through your meal. I can’t recommend Kickinn Bankstown RSL based on this experience, especially when there are so many other venues that prioritize customer satisfaction over strict...

My wife and I went to Kickin inn for my birthday celebration. We had booked and made the reservation. We arrived a couple of minutes later than the agreed reservation. We were seated right away with the menu in hand. Advised us that there was no Lobster and there were no Balmain Bugs. Not a good start at all. We then waited 25 minutes before we ordered. They walked past us several times with my hand in the air and ignored me. This was very rude. I got up and just bought a few drinks until they came and served us. Then I ordered what we wanted and was unable to substitute anything for the missing Lobster or Balmain bugs. They showed no care about how we felt. All the meals came out separately and I had to chase the missing items of Rice and Baguettes. It was truly a terrible service. I have never been treated this way. I was in no way ever rude to them at all. Everything was please and thank you. Upon paying the bill, they then apologized to me. They knew what they had done. But it's too late. I felt like I was so neglected. Especially my Birthday. I will never go to this branch of Kickin Inn anymore. Absolutely terrible for mid-week dining. If you are the manager reading this. Please feel free...
