Well..first of all the service while placing order was average and the time we received our drinks could have been a lot faster and if we got our drinks on time could be a bit hotter. Normally I dont post reviews but I felt like the service could have been a lot better and faster.
I own a cafe in Parramatta so I know how its important for coffee to be delivered right after being made.
We ordered lunch and coffee and tea. The girl barista made few drinks and was ready to go to tables but the other girl didnt respond to her bells and was on her phone while barista made good 6-8 drinks ready to go.. The other girl didnt even budge from her place and was chatting away with the boy we placed our order with. Then Barista had to come out and deliver her drinks all-around.. go upstairs and around and to us.. We sat right in front of the entrance so we could see what was happening clearly…and to be honest if I saw this happening in my place that girl on her phone would have been fired on the spot for such poor attitude towards co-worker and neglecting customers. If it wasn’t for the Barista to deliver her own drinks I dont think we were ever gonna receive our drinks.. The girl barista still delivered our drinks with great smile and attitude. and when I asked about the behaviour of other girl..she just smiled and said- I am new so I dont wanna say anything. My advice to Barista would be if all of your co- workers like that its high time you change jobs and heck even I would offer you a job just for handling that situation...
Read moreThere was no sign saying customers are not allowed to go upstairs for seating before purchasing. I was stopped by the manager Rajesh UDASH asking that I must purchase before getting a seat. I saw other customers going upstairs before ordering. I was confused and the circumstances could suggest that I was being singled out for such treatment only. I asked the manager why and he started arguing with me, even commenting that I did not ask around when entering the restaurant when all the other customers would! Clearly I saw other customers just popped into the restaurants and took their seats without asking around. I did not want to second guess why I was singled out but it is for too important to point this out. I was directed to leave my comment here so that's what I did. I just want to urge the management of the restaurant to look into this and provide training to their staff including the manager on how to avoid biases and generalisation of conduct and behaviour based on customers' race...

Why: Because your options I'd you don't want to be crushed in the food court are severely limited.
Why not: So many reasons. Let's start with the fact that they most certainly don't wash the water glasses they make available (probably a quick rinse between uses) so who knows whether they wash anything else properly - I took out eight glasses before finding one I was willing to clean myself and drink out of it. The cutlery stands upside down on the table so who knows how many people have fondled your knife and fork while taking theirs by the time you sit down at the table, or indeed how many people have sneezed on them. Coffee is weak. No butter on or made available for the bread that came with my breakfast. Eggs were raw (no, not soft, raw) and had to be sent back.
