PappaRich Sydney International Airport T1 — Restaurant in Sydney

Ordered nasi goreng with fried chicken, it looked good when it was presented, chicken and Sambal sauce was good until I started having the nasi goreng, it smelled, looked and tasted a bit funky, I think it’s safe to say that being Asian I have a bit of knowledge about rice, and that was bad rice ! even though I still managed to eat half of the rice, since I was hungry and didn’t want to waste but halfway through I felt my stomach feeling funny so I stopped eating the rest of it

Wifey ordered mixed kway teow noodle dish, I think it looked and tasted ok so she finished it

When we finally got on board our plane and about 10-20mins in the flight she was complaining that her stomach was feeling uneasy and went straight to the toilet, she came back saying that she had diarrhoea

So it was no coincidence that we had stomach issues after eating at this papparich joint in the airport

Please don’t eat at this place if you don’t want to have...

Approaching noon during my transit in Sydney airport makes us to look for the lunch. My choice comes to this restaurant provides malaysian cuaisine.

I ordered nasi lemak with curry chicken, while my other colleagus order nasi lemak eith fried chicken, and fried rice with chicken.

The taste of nasi lemak is quite delicious with not too spicy of curry chicken to add the taste of SE Asia. Also the nasi lemak with fried  chicken with teri fish n peanut is perfectly blended. Friend rice is also worth to try, they put chili sauce but not too spicy.

We order lemon tea with honey, lemon tea iced, and pappa white coffee iced to perfectly match our meals.

Located besides a fast food restaurant, they have cozy table and chairs or couch with view of airplanes parking and taxiing.

Just nice place to spend time waiting for next flight or having chit chat with friends. Nice staff but think the price a bit...

I'm having a dispute with my bank due to the incorrect information restaurant attendant gave me when the order taking machine/terminal charged my debit card but didn't complete the order. Attendant instructed me to re-order & pay again at the counter as her office will process a refund of the original charge. I paid again & emailed the office requesting a refund as instructed, but was informed they needed my physical debit card to process a refund... They suggested that I take this to the my bank, which is reasonable from their end, but it's a big hustle from the customer's end... in addition, restaurant gave me a wrong dish (I ordered fried rice with chicken curry, but given fried rice with a chicken leg), dinner was dry & tasteless. Disappointing...
