Only thing I can say is... Wow! 🤯
Incredible food, even better service and Asif is a true legend!
I had the chicken corn soup (pro tip: add the soy sauce + chilli vinegar) and it was fresh, hot creamy and absolutely perfect for a cold night.
This was followed by the chicken parata roll, and it was definitely the star of the show. The parata was crispy and soft, with the chicken beautifully seasoned and marinated. Add the chutney, herbs and dash of onions and the flavours positively produced a symphony of the most delectable flavours. I'd go back just for this! 👏
Next up, an unforgettable mango lassi. I'm always happy to have mango lassi but this one hit the spot like none others have. It was just the right amount of sweetness so that you could really appreciate the mango whilst still retaining that traditional smoothness and flavour of lassi. This one pleasantly surprised me because rather than being a drink on the side, it was an experience on its own 👌
To top it off, steaming hot chai that was velvety smooth and went down a treat. No meal of this nature is complete without chai, and this really capped an incredible culinary experience in the most suitable, traditional and appropriate way. ☕
Through it all, the staff were delightful and happy to help. They made recommendations based on my preferences and genuinely showed care for their customers, and truly wanted them to leave satisfied. All the staff were friendly and approachable, but once again Asif was just an absolute champion - a charming, down to earth and genuine guy who just wants to make sure his customers are happy. With the quality of food and service offered, I have no doubt they all will be.
Lastly, the value proposition on offer is awesome. With inflation driving prices up across the board, this eatery has managed to keep prices very reasonable and affordable - you'll definitely get more than your money's worth. Portions were generous and everything was priced very affordably, which is a great to see in today's day and age. The two for one Tuesday deals are absolutely incredible and I'd strongly recommend going for them if you want even more bang for your buck.
I can't recommend these guys enough. You will absolutely not be disappointed - in fact, I'm certain you'll love it. Give these guys a shot. You'll be missing out...

I'm not exaggerating when I say that Koyla Kings is a culinary revelation. This hidden gem has transported me back to the vibrant streets of Pakistan and India, where the aromas and flavors of authentic South Asian cuisine reign supreme. Every dish is a masterclass in traditional cooking, with each bite a testament to the chefs' skill and dedication.
The Mutton Karahi was sublime, with tender meat and a depth of flavor that rivaled the best restaurants in Lahore. But it was the BBQ platter that truly showcased the kitchen's prowess. The assortment of grilled meats, marinated to perfection and cooked over an open flame, was nothing short of spectacular. It's clear that Koyla Kings isn't just a name – they actually are the Koyla Kings of Sydney (Koyla means "coal" in Urdu/Hindi).
However, what truly sets Koyla Kings apart is its incredible staff. Asif and Mubashir lead a team that embodies the warmth and hospitality of South Asian culture. Every guest is treated like family, with a level of service that's both attentive and genuine. From the welcoming smiles to the generous portions, every detail is designed to make you feel at home. Kudos to the chefs who have perfected the art of coal-fired cooking, with special mention to Furqan Shah.
The atmosphere is equally impressive, with a cozy and intimate setting that's perfect for gatherings with friends and family. The decor is tasteful, with subtle nods to Pakistani culture that add to the overall ambiance.
In short, Koyla Kings is a must-visit destination for anyone who loves authentic Pakistani cuisine. With its incredible food, exceptional service, and warm hospitality, this restaurant is a true gem in the heart of...

During our visit, we indulged in the Chicken Biryani, BBQ Platter, and Chicken Karahi. Every dish was a masterpiece, but the BBQ Platter was a personal favorite. It featured an exquisite Malai Chicken Boti and a variety of other succulent meats, each bursting with flavor and perfectly cooked.

Adding to the delightful experience was a memorable moment when the shopkeeper played the popular Baho Bali song by Chahat Fateh Ali Khan. The ambiance was electric, making our dining experience even more enjoyable and fun.
