Read moreUtterly disgusted - furious actually - at the service I received tonight. I ordered churros for two and a macaron and waited just shy of 40 minutes to receive my order. Then, to add insult to injury, when I finally got home to share it with my son the ice-cream, sprinkles and strawberries that I paid for weren’t there. I enquired multiple times as to where my order was and was told each time, “It’s getting done now”. There were so many staff members working that technically nobody should have had to wait longer than 10 minutes for their order, however, the staff were so mismanaged, so unorganised and without any direction that no one received their order in a fair and reasonable time. I watched TWO girls pack ONE Uber Eats order over and over again. I watched a tall girl with dark brown hair and freckles be completely unproductive by being perpetually confused by each order. She did nothing but converse to other staff about what each order meant. She did a great job of looking busy but actually doing nothing. I watched the girls at the back who were making the orders comment on the “crazy busy” night they were having but didn’t see any of them move with a sense of urgency or purpose. I watched multiple order stuff-ups which resulted in orders having to be remade and in turn making the insane wait time even worse. I watched ONE runner sweat, apologise and scurry around and she is literally the only asset to the business. I believe her name is Kez (or something similar). About 30 minutes into my wait another runner joined the poor girl but she was slower and avoided conversations with annoyed customers like the plague. A competent team leader or manager is desperately needed to sort out these young, inexperienced staff members. Such a shame because San Churro is usually a...
Read moreVery poor service today! I decided to treat myself & buy a 6 pack of macaroons for $18:95 & a packet of chocolate. A young male served me & put through the order. I was given the chocolates, but left waiting for the macaroons. The young male served more customers after leaving me standing there for a few minutes. He then proceeded to just stand at the counter for another minute doing nothing after that. I asked another staff member for my order & was completely ignored by her. I asked the male for my order, he looked very confused on how to place 6 macaroons into a box. Another staff member had to take over placing the macaroons in the box & attempted to give me the wrong flavours. The store was not busy at the time, the staff were very flat in nature. It clearly showed that none of them take pride in their work & they dont want to be there!!! None of them smiled , none of them apologised for forgetting the rest of my order. A customer should not have to ask for their order, especially when it was just 6 macaroons. All staff on today need serious training & need to change their lazy attitudes. Your business has now lost a customer, you will lose more if this keeps happening. If I could give you 0/10, you would...
