Extremely disappointing experience – worst customer service ever
We were visiting Leura on Mother’s Day with a group of friends and decided to stop at this café for a quick bite around 3 PM. I went in to ask if we could sit outside since we had a small dog with us. The staff member said yes and handed me some menus.
I gathered my group (8 people in total), and we sat outside reviewing the menu. No one came to take our order, so I went back inside to ask whether we should order at the counter or if someone would come to us. The staff seemed confused, and I overheard one asking another if she was willing to stay longer. To keep things easy, I offered to collect everyone’s order and place it at the counter myself.
But just as I was about to go inside and order, someone from the staff shut the door on us—without a word, no explanation, no apology. We were left outside, shocked and frankly humiliated. As visitors and customers, we felt completely unwelcomed and disrespected.
It’s upsetting, especially on such a lovely day, to be treated this way. We were ready to place a decent order (easily over $300) and continue exploring the town in good spirits. Instead, we left feeling excluded and disappointed.
Absolutely unacceptable behavior from a business in a tourist-friendly area. I would not recommend this...
Read morei ordered one of their “gourmet sandwiches” which cost $15 and received canned salmon with unseasoned salad and the thinnest layer of sour cream all betwixt woolies sliced whole meal bread. unbuttered, untoasted, uninspiring. i felt ROBBED. i just cant get over the bread. never in my life have i been served cheap dry ahh pre sliced whole meal and had to pay for it. it felt unethical! i just cannot believe it. the coffee was mediocre and the whole experience made me depressed. when i went back to work after my break i told them about my experience and as soon as i mentioned the landseer they were like nuh uh uh- it’s the worst no one goes there, even though it’s somehow the oldest cafe in leura and has been there for 30 years- literally how 🐲 anyways, it’s such a cute little hole in the wall, rustic looking cafe- it’d be great if someone else bought it and made some actual good...
Read moreI never put a bad review but this one was to much. I've been here because I just wanted to eat somewhere inside and didn't know any place. I've waited 25 minutes for a 18$ microwaved lasagna. The place stinks, it's small and the staff were bad except one girl I'll come back to her later. When I complained about my lasagna being burning because they put it twice in the microwave, the older lady tell me she did it because it was still FROZEN and say that I would have complained aswell if she served me after the first microwave round. This 1 star belong to this red haired girl with fringe who were nice and made a discount to my friend. My advice would be to go to the Woolworths and buy youself the lasagna because it's...
