There are cafes you pop into for a quick caffeine fix, and then there are cafes that become a part of your daily rhythm, where the coffee is great, but the people are even better.

Latteria is that place for my husband and me. From the very first visit, we felt more like friends than customers. The team here doesn’t just serve coffee; they pour their hearts into every cup, every meal, and every interaction. Nothing is ever too much trouble, and their warmth is as comforting as their perfectly brewed coffee. And to be honest, you will not find a better coffee in the area!

In a world that often feels rushed and transactional, Latteria is a reminder of what hospitality should be, genuine, thoughtful, and full of heart. We feel so lucky to have this gem in our...

Food: panini (pesto & provola) outta this world, we also tried omelette & ham cheese panini which were very good too Coffee & tea: coffee is done with great craft at your specific request with delicious roasted coffee. Chai powder tastes incredible (chai lover here) never had anything like it Muffins: mixed berries one are just a delicious sweet (not too sweet) to hit the right spot, if lady luck’s on your side, you’ll find them freshly baked INCREDIBLE People: passionate, sincere, kind & just a true reflection of the success of this amazing place, will honestly miss Sydney & waking up to this great place ❤️❤️❤️

This is old school hole in the wall coffee shop that could be in Melbourne/Europe but lucky to have it in Darlinghurst. Great little Breaky/Lunch menu with hearty cafe food, best coffee in the area and a great place to watch the world go by. Casual Service with friendly staff. Hard to get a table in the mornings as so popular but well worth the wait. You can have a flash glass and brass venue but even the Potts pointers/double bay/ rush-cutters bay people are local at this little Darlinghurst Institution! This is our go to and my friends and dog Harry, loves Latteria as well .. never...

I went for the pancakes and was pleased. They were fluffy but moist with a nice texture. Maple syrup seemed to be good quality and a decent serving of berries and yoghurt on top. (Only thought - if using frozen berries it might be better to cook them more into a hot compote?) I think this place does well for providing quality food at reasonable prices. A good cafe for locals attracting repeat business. Husband had the bacon and egg roll with chilli jam which was a solid delivery on a breakfast staple.
