This Cafe is beautiful and exceptionally well located. The staff actewere d friendly when we were there. Something happened, though, and I'm guessing we were unlucky and maybe didn't understand the menu. I ordered a green tea latte, and as with many other menus, you could select size, milks, and sugar. In my head, if they ask if you want sugar and you don't click on any, it means you don't want any option. The drink was SO sweet, I couldn't drink it. When I asked the staff if a mistake had happened as I didn't select sugar, they said the green tea 'mix' had sugar. On the other hand, my friend ordered a Latte (via the app). A few seconds later, she realised she didn't select Soy. She went and told them and paid the difference (80c). She later got her $7 'soy latte,' which was honestly the worst coffee ever. We could've said something then, but well, we didn't. I guess we needed time to articulate what to say. Other people seemed happy there, so I'll just assume it was an out-of-the-ordinary thing.

I had the pleasure of trying the omelette from Leaf CafĂ© Bondi & Co with my wife and it was a vibrant and flavorful dish! The presentation was inviting, with the golden-brown focaccia sitting alongside a generous portion of baked eggs topped with melted cheese, sautĂ©ed spinach, and cherry tomatoes. The fresh herbs and sprinkle of seasoning elevated the aroma. The focaccia was perfectly baked—crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy inside, with a hint of herbs that complemented the savory baked eggs. The combination of gooey cheese, tender spinach, and the slight burst of sweetness from the cherry tomatoes created a satisfying balance of flavors. The dish was hearty, filling, and felt like a wholesome, well-thought-out breakfast. Overall, it’s a must-try if you’re looking for something comforting yet refined. Leaf CafĂ© Bondi & Co did not disappoint with this offering! The staff was attentive and they had QR codes on the table for easy ordering!

The deco and atmosphere are too cold and neat to my taste, but the food and the service wins me every time! Generous portions of interesting twists to all our favourite classics. This salmon toast with those big pieces of salmon is my favourite, no doubt. But I notice like on in many other cafes, there is an esential componet missing that you have to have (in thi case an egg) so you orther an extra...$... Regardless, I will be coming back. So, well done chef 👹‍🍳! And team.
