I had been eager to try out this eatery, initially drawn in by the enticing window display of someone expertly crafting dumplings. However, my expectations were far from met. The menu left me puzzled and feeling like the restaurant was grasping at straws. Upon entering, the front area was cramped, prompting a retreat to the back room. Unfortunately, the lack of ventilation resulted in a lingering odor of aged grease and food.

For my meal, I ordered three items:

  1. The "soup" dumplings were a letdown, as not a single drop of soup was found within. These tiny dumplings were housed in a worn-out and dirty bamboo steamer.

  2. Opting for wonton soup, I was confronted with a dish that bore no resemblance to true wontons. The wonton skins were far from silky, burdened by an unwelcome heaviness.

  3. The saving grace was the stir-fried hand-made noodles. Though the presentation was decent, the noodles themselves had room for improvement. They lacked the springy texture characteristic of truly hand-crafted noodles, instead verging on mushy.

The water they offered had bottles uncapped.

In conclusion, I cannot recommend this establishment to those with discerning palates. The portions left much to be desired and considering the prices, it hardly qualifies as economical. My anticipation was met with profound disappointment, and I regretfully advise others to seek their culinary...

First time I tried here, delicious and perfect. No complaints. Second time I ordered exactly the same thing - spring rolls and crispy chicken with oyster sauce and noodles, and my partner got beef stir fry. It was an hour after I ordered that it was ready. Got home, no spring rolls. Simple mistake but it’s starting downhill. I sent my partner down to pick them up. I started at my noodles, and the noodles were soaking in soy sauce. Not oyster sauce. SOY SAUCE. You have no idea how bad that tastes! A napkin was forcefully swabbed over my tongue to discard the taste. The noodles weren’t in my mouth long enough to comment on the texture. The chicken was fried. There was one monster broccoli and nothing else. It wasn’t mixed. It was one item sitting on top of the other. My partner’s stir fry, in all its glorious, vibrant, every colour of the rainbow form on the website, was a sad pile of beef and onion. Onion and beef. However you read it, it was 50/50. Nothing more, nothing less. 1 star for the perfect first time order, and 1 star for refunding my money with the disastrous second time order. All I had to do was have a 40 minute conversation about “this is the correct meal” to get my refund. Like the beef stir fry, I’m 50/50 about heading here again, but I’m as sour as the soy sauce noodles,...

Average food, terrible service. I went for dinner here and the food was unbelievably slow to come out. The dumplings took 20+ minutes. We also ordered a pork and potato dish. The dish was also incredibly slow to come out, with tables arriving after us getting their mains before us. When it finally came out, it had three tiny pieces of pork that were mostly fat. We ended up mentioning this and thankfully the waitress was nice and said we could change the dish as this is just how the dish is. The other dish we ordered (not the replacement dish, we were going to share two meals) then came out and they forgot the rice and we had to ask 3 times before getting it, by which time we had already eaten half the dish because we were so hungry having been there for over an hour already. The replacement dish showed no sign of coming out and by this point we were so disappointed by the meal that we chose to leave. I will not be coming back here. If the waitress hadn't been nice and accommodating, I would give this...

Just a great restaurant. Every time ive been there the staff are super friendly, however I think that is because I'm use to Chinese style of hospitality service, others might not agree. Okay, the most important part. The chilly oil is just amazing. I'm actually getting hungry think about it. I tried to take of photo of my food with it but I couldn't stop myself from eating it. I've even bought some to take home. All the dishes I've tried are very fresh and hand made at the restaurant. This is about legit as a Chinese restaurant can get. Highly recommend. ❤️

Got blown by the taste and flavours. Didn't expect this much from such a small and hidden restaurant. Congratulations. Ordered fried pork and chives dumplings, cold chilly beef slices and paid just $15 Recommended. P.s. No free tea like in Vietnamese restaurants, water only

Fresh dumplings and tasteful noodles. Dumplings were being handmade and the taste resonated while eating. We had the handmade stir fried noodles as well. It’s tucked away behind bus stop and is not that eye catching from outside but food is worth it. 👌
