Leaf Cafe & Co Emerton Village — Restaurant in Sydney

In a Post Covid Lanscape where human interaction was minimalised the Leaf Cafe at Emerton stands as a Beacon of light and testament to the strength of human connectivity and the special nature of close personal friendships carved over coffee and sometimes cake. As a professional person if a difficult profession the interactions are craved; very much sought out and deeply deeply appreciated (probably more than the staff realise). The staff in this particular coffee shop are tremendously helpful; cheerful and ever willing to accommodate (often some of the fussiest people) and are focus on the customer as central to their operation. The food is terrific, and the atmosphere is fantastic; welcoming; inviting; caring and inclusive the admixture of staff ethnicity; age demography and the vibrancy of their interactions with each other and with customers is both entertaining and essentially what makes the space such a wonderful place to share coffee and build memories with friends and colleagues. Ordered a coffee and meal. Recieved coffee waited with no one else in the store and was told 20 mins after receiving coffee, I never ordered food. Thanks for wasting my time.

Is a lie, the only reason I left the house was for breakfast. Yes you never stock pineapple because it's not the first time I've tried to order that meal. It's wasn't available so I ordered the avo delight. Why would someone wait in the store after already receiving their coffee? Why would they ask if the food on the counter was theirs? Delicious food, amazing coffee, friendly staff all in a modern Leaf Cafe atmosphere.

We ordered the steak sandwich, bad boy burger, kids chicken nuggets and the Belgium white chocolate mocha. True to the name, the bad boy burger was impressive. The wagyu beef patty was thick and full of flavour. The steak sandwich contained a delicious grain fed sirloin steak cooked to perfection. The kids nuggets and chips comes with a healthy serving of a kids size apple juice. All dishes are served with chips.
