Noodle Hut - Emerton — Restaurant in Sydney

I went with my older brother today, my brother was asking the woman serving if they do large or medium sizes she just muttered words under her breath, we both stared at each other confused as if we were not being heard, she then handed a menu, I spoke to her the second time hoping I'd get better reception from her, I explained I wanted beef and seafood together with the thick rice noodles as it's noodle hut they allow you to mix, she then proceeds to explain to me, so you don't want chicken, I was standing there stuck on a paused huh, I then pointed on the menu beef and seafood, she then repeated my order back to me explaining so you don't want chicken, there wasn't even a second in the order where I mentioned chicken, at this point I thought I was on another planet talking to a different kind of species, I told her I am very articulate I just said I won't beef and seafood, she then said just say you want all meats and seafood with no chicken, I then said but I told you what I want, you can understand me yes, she said yes but next time just say you want mix meat no chicken with seafood, I then replied to her after countless times of repeating myself i had reach a point where I had become irritatted and frustrated from having to repeat myself, it was a loophole moment for me, a conversation about my order or the way I have chosen to make my order bothered her that she had to edit it, so I replied, THERE WONT BE A NEXT TIME, my brother intervened and told her she doesn't want chicken, she told you beef and seafood, just cancell the order, I walked out confused with no food as we didn't even make it past ordering, its a BIG NO from me, i may have accused her of not serving me because she is racist, standing there being corrected by her and her refusing to take my order, made me realise she was refusing to listen to me for whatever reason was just ridiculous, I do regret saying that but I was not rude towards her, it was difficult to make an order with her, I won't be returning their unless something is done with the front house staff particularly the woman who is in her mid 30s or 40s with a BAD BAD attitude, she is bad for bussiness as she lost money and...

You’ve got to do better than this.. seriously!

Stop westernising your food. Cook traditional Thai dishes with traditional Thai flavours. These 3 dishes should NOT have tasted the same. Taste your food.

If you or anyone in this shop is from Thailand, you should know & do better.

The food was absolutely terrible. 5 of us left hungry and left our plates full. The noodles were overcooked and like mush on our 3 noodle dishes and all of the dishes were overly salty. The tofu was like rubber and crispy pork belly was stone cold. When I asked the lady if it was meant to be cold, she was rude and told my it had just come from the deep fryer so couldn't be cold.
