Ordered coffee and the waiter asked if I was having take away or eat in. I said yes takeaway and with a mask on it must have been hard for her to hear. The coffee was ready but it was made for dine in and the waiter said ‘I asked you’ which which I replied ‘I said yes, take away’. The lady who was making the coffee and the one that served me made it like it’s my fault. Lady making the coffee kept making annoyed faces and sighing and was just plain annoyed. I told the lady making the coffee that I said take away and she still sighed and made annoyed faces and remarks. I am just frustrated as this is a cancer patient hospital and my brother in law will be admitted last week and to have something like this happen in here is just rude and inconsiderate. Read moreI’d give it 0 stars if I could. Long wait times, staff who do not listen to the order properly, wrong order received, disorganised and chaotic. The cafe is monopolised by large staff orders who place an order on behalf of their whole team. I get that this is a hospital cafe but given some of your patients are in treatment for up to 8 hours per day, the least you could do is improve the service and quality of food for staff, patients and visitors. There is another cafe facility in the lobby unused. Surely that could be repurposed during busy times? So...
