Almost didn't go in as the place looks like so many other Chinese restaurants in suburban Australia. Glad we did. The eggplant with tofu in Szechuan sauce was worth the visit alone. My wife's a vegetarian and she said it was one of the best eggplant dishes she's ever had. My Kung pow prawns were very good but not spicy and the veggie fried rice was really tasty. Super friendly service and the feel of a restaurant that's been making good food for a long time. We'll be back.

Great place for dinner. Carter's for larger groups. Can get busy so best to book on weekends. Very generous large serving so make sure you don't over order like we did. Will definately be back.

I had to order after closing because I was looking in Hornsby, the guy was kind enough to make it for me. Recommend

Disappointing & Not Authentic Chinese Cuisine. I currently do not have a kitchen at the moment due to renovations so my husband & I have had take-away three times in the last 10 days from this restaurant. To be honest, tonight's take-away dinner will be our last from there. It has been convenient, that I will admit, as it is located only 5 minutes away but we have now reconciled that we will have to go further for our Asian "fix", kitchen renovations or not. Primarily, all the dishes we have tried have had far too much sugar in the sauces & very little, if any, seasoning. The flavours are bland, the "crispy noodles" are the ready-fried supermarket-bought packet variety which is extremely disappointing & the prices...

Who knew I had to travel from Canada to Australia to get some of the best authentic and delicious Chinese food! We ordered 5 dishes - enough to feed 3 adults and 2 teens with leftovers! The sweet and sour pork, Gai lan special dish, pan fried beef chow mien, a rainbow crispy beef dish, and prawn pancakes were all fantastic! The ladies were welcoming and helpful -suggesting these dishes. They were attentive, friendly and we chatted! Thank you for your hospitality. We will definitely come back when we come to NSW,...

The food is great when its fresh. Unfortunately during the week I'm regularly eating reheated food...this is especially obvious with the rice. I have been a regular customer for 2 plus years. My issue with the quality of the food has been raised with the owners on several occasions. This is met with a subtle raise of the shoulders. $25-30 for one dish and rice makes them the most expensive in the suburb by at least 15%. Nearby Turramurra or Hornsby would be a better investment of...
