Luck Sushi is my weekly neighbourhood treat. I was sad initially that Spanish Sakaba closed, but I must admit that Luck Sushi is a damn good replacement.

I've eaten here almost every week for the past two months, so I've tried almost everything. My recommendations are Salmon Skin Maki, Salmon Carpaccio, Clam Sakamushi, Seaweed Salad, Nabeyaki Udon, and start your meal by trying their numerous appetizers as you'll always go right with their selections. My favourite is their sushi sashimi boat. In my opinion, it's an exquisite showcase of freshness. Each slice of sashimi melts in your mouth, and the presentation is a colourful array of tastes and textures that delight the senses.

Just a heads up- they have a small crew in this restaurant, so be patient. You might have to wave multiple times to call the service crew's attention, but once they see you, expect all the smiles and friendliness you can get. Overall, Luck Sushi is an excellent addition to our...

We had eel on rice, squid teriyaki (special), tempura udon, okonomiyaki. The food was delicious, just a little bit off here and there such as the rice was slightly too wet and some bits were hard like it was stuck at the bottom of the rice cooker. Tempura in the udon arrived submerged. I would've love to have some crispy bits. Anyway, even the food was delicious, but we would not go back.

My partner had a flying cockroach 🪳 on his hair!! And it was flying around the restaurant. There was no apology from the restaurant. It seems like they might have seen the cockroach for a little while before it got on to my partner's hair but didn't deal with it until it created havoc. A heartfelt apology at paying would've been enough for us.

Needless to say we won't be coming back. I can't imagine eating in a place with raw cuts of meat such as sashimi...

Ive been coming here at least once a month for takeaway for the last 4 and a half years. It was the only place i ordered takeaway from in Brighton. Tonight i noticed when i arrived home something was missing from my ordered food. I do order the same thing everytime. When i called and to talk about the issue, this being the first time i have ever called, i was passed through three staff where by my was explained everytime over amd over again. I did explain i was a regular customet however all three staff did not care and did not care my regular order was missing something for the first time. I work hard amd listen to my clients, i expect others to do the same or as i will, mever come back as o was brussed off as nothing. From my ppint of view if you have a issue with your order, dont waste your breath. They wont...

Came here for lunch on a weekday and ordered the Spicy Karaage Chicken bento. There was a good selection of food - rice, chicken, tempura and some salad. Comes with miso soup too. Tempura was slightly heavily battered and the dipping sauce so mild in flavour that couldn't really taste much in the sauce. Chicken was very generous serving although probably not the traditional karaage I'm used to - wasn't crunch on arrival (likely due to the spicy sauce poured over the chicken). The sauce was unfortunately a bit of a let down also given it wasn't spicy. Salad was ok. Food would have been rated probably closer to a 3/5 but service was great and you can't dispute the value at $13 pushing it to an overall 4/5. A friend who I came with did say the dinner menu was a lot better so may try that next time.
