Maroubra Bakery — Restaurant in Sydney

I am based in Melbourne but stayed in Maroubra for about 3 weeks for some personal matters. Before I arrived in Maroubra, I already heard some praises from a local MP about its pork crackling roll. On the first day of my arrival, I wanted to try but it was closed for Sunday. Therefore, I went across the road to a Vietnamese franchise restaurant in Pacific Square instead, but its pork crackling roll didn't impress me, probably it's not specialising in it.

In the following week, I tried pork cracking roll there. It was really good and delicious. The crunchiness of the pork cracking and roll was just perfect, both the meat and veggies generous. When a bit of fresh chili was added, it made the taste perfect.

In the end, out of 18 days, I came to this place four times for the pork crackling roll. Also, the cold can drink was only $2, less than from any vending machines or food court.

The crispy roasted pork roll I have did not have proper fillings at all. Thinly sliced roasted pork belly and it barely filled the roll (the girl who served me picked slice by slice and just line them up so that they don't overlap each slice, haha). I felt like I did not eat anything after having it. The roll itself is nice & fresh/crunchy (btw, the roll can be bought for 50 cents only so not worth buying the whole roasted pork roll for next to nothing fillings), but the filling is very disappointed, for 11$ I dont think I will be back. Also the attitude is not very welcoming, they just expect you to give the money to them and did not say anything else at all. They also did not ask me what ingredients I like or not (no paté for my roll). 0/0 for...

Had been there for years. They have to be very good services but one day early last year i ordered 6pork rolls and called the store 20mins in advance and told them what time i be arrive and i have no time to waiting just start to make it. Turn up 20mins later then no one start make it and i have to leave without anything and not any words of apologies so i stop coming there since last year.

This morning i want to give them another the change but unfortunately they do the same thing like copy & paste. I called 15mins early and order 3 mini pork roll and told them will be there in 10mins. Turn up there with non of customers but they not start my order yet.

Such terrible...
