Maroubra Charcoal Chickens — Restaurant in Sydney

In front of bus stop which is an absolutely good location. For me personally, the pasta and cheese in pastitsio are a bit bland, the meat are flavorful enough. The good thing is it has plenty of cheese for cheese lovers. The texture live up to my expectations.

I never tried moussaka before so I do not know how soft/mushy should the eggplant be. I do not like the texture and prefer it is more firm. Also, overall I prefer it to be more flavorful (more salt/umami perhaps), but this is a personal preference.

The vegetable fried rice is a bit salty for me, but still ok. We can mix with their salad to make it more pleasurable. Might buy the Tabouli salad again if I want to or try their other salads.

One time I eat there, the table is not clean enough. Not a big deal but the store can improve in this area to make the customer more satisfied.

I only have tried all of these menu one time, so I don't know whether there will be inconsistency on one of the days.

Family run business with a fantastic range of delicious food. Just had an amazing hamburger and the most delicious chips. My husband is not well and his appetite is very poor. This morning when he woke he asked me to pick up those delicious hamburgers that I normally get. Thank you to the Michael, Con, Penny and your wonderful family for providing such great food. 🌯🍔🍗🥗❤🤗 OMG...... We just tasted the rizogalo (Rice pudding) that I bought with the hamburger and chips yesterday. Soooooo authentic!!! Very well made. My mum would be proud of you!!! I officially retire from making rizogalo from now on. I'll be buying it from Maroubra Charcoal...

A frequent customer and their gesture today of adding something that I forgot to order from Uber and trusting me to pop in and pay tomorrow is a good reason to leave a review.

This is definitely Greek chicken so expect a Greek slant to their dishes. Everything has as strong, robust flavour which I love. The salads are always fresh and you're treated like an old friend every time you visit (that person who complained that the staff were rude must have a really special definition for the word rude).

Definitely a great place to grab a delicious and well priced meal. If you get a snack pack it will easily feed 2 people...
