Today I visited kirawee maccas through drive thru and ordered medium fries, small coke and a free small sprite from my maccas app that I earned from the monopoly game. On the screen it showed the prices of the coke and the fries, except the small sprite because it was free. My maccas app even says that they receieved my code. After I paid for the rest, I saw that I had gotten charged extra for the sprite instead of it being free. I told the manager at the next window and she said the code didn't go through, and that I need to pull it up from the app again in which I did. I gave her the code again and asked her for some salt. She said drive down to the next window and you will receive your extra change and the salt. I got to the next window and a male manager who's name was apparently Matt opened up the window and gave me the change with one salt packet. I said thank you can I please get some more salt. He proceeded to say with attitude that they have no more salt and shut the window straight in my face. Firstly, as a world wide store, how are you salting and seasoning your products if you have no salt left, how are customers able to ask for salt on there toasties if you have no salt left, how are you putting salt on your fries if you have no salt left. Make it make sense, that manager clearly don't know how to lie. After he shut the window so rudely in my face, I beeped the horn a few times and kept getting ignored by both crew and the managers. Finally when a cafe lady opened the window, I asked for some salt and she gave me more salt even though the manager told me there was none left. I asked for a different manager to report this issue to and clearly she didn't care about a word I was saying with smirk she was giving. I am a regular customer who works in the area and is always there with manners, but I can't believe that the crew have more manners then the managers. Everytime I ask for salt the crew deliver great service, but as a manager that's embarrassing. Honestly one of the worst maccas experience ever. Bad customer service by managers, there rude and think they can treat customers the way they want. I don't put up with rude...
Read moreI used to regularly come to this macdonalds. I went with my daughter from Miranda to get some breakfast last Saturday morning. Ordered 3 things not hard to get it right.. they forgot the tomato and cheese toasted sandwich the only item my daughter wanted. I called up and advised it wasnt in the bag, they check and confirm it never was received. They offered me to come back immediately or they will send a voucher. I explained I have my 1 and a half year old daughter with me and i cant get back now shes too tired and grumpy, so I requested to come tomorrow for breakfast instead which they refused. They said well sorry(manager by the way not just someone who answered the phone) you have to get a voucher which you will receive in a week or so. This is appalling customer service and bad management. she obviously doesnt have kids or she would have shown some empathy. You cant drag a child out drive 15/20 mins both ways and go back again.. convincing a 1 and a half year old to get back in a car seat after my daughter didnt get what she was promised good luck. So we didnt get what we paid for nor did I get a voucher in the end.. I will go to taren point next time, I will never use your maccas again I think you guys need to rethink the way you treat people. I had been coming to your maccas for 5 years I never complain even when u get it wrong for me I dont care but you took my daughters breakfast away and didnt replace it and had the nerve to tell.me not.to come.back the next day when it was convenient for me. If you stuff up you look after your customer dont treat...
