McDonald's Padstow — Restaurant in Sydney

Came through drive through at 230am on the 5th September 2023. The food was great, I asked to wait for fresh chips and the Burger was fresh. Was pleasantly impressed. However, the girl manager took my order I paid at the first window. The first tp didn't work then she tapped again. Told me it went through, went to collect food, told to go to waiting bay window. She came over said it hasn't gone through on my card, I had to check the app, it didn't work. So, she took my card it went off with it for a few minutes. Came back said it won't work, do I have cash? I only had 5 bucks. She then said I will insert it instead and wanted me to tell her my bank card pin? I said no way, this is extremely sketchy behaviour. She told me to come into the store when I refused to give my pin to a Stranger who wouldnt give my card back. I never had the food on me either. she then told me to come back through drive thru to put my pin in myself through the window. Please don't take customers cards away and ask them for their pin. It was probably harmless but extremely illegal and dodgy. If someone is abit intoxicated they probably would of given the information. So, not sure if it was dodgy or harmless but...

Slower then a wet week,1st visit at approx. 6am.3 people behind the counter..1 taking orders..not enough change,go get some..3 minutes later,comes back gives the change to the customer,then walks off..I got up to 7 minutes waiting then I also walked out..empty handed..Back at lunch..join the cue..stand & look at the vacant cash register..3 minutes..stike up a convo with the customer behind me.."You waiting" she asks.."yes ,very common here,about 7 minutes till they serve you"I reply ,OH really" she replies..we talk for a few more minutes..yes minutes..then someone behind the counter realized that all us people forming a line were their for something other then our health..FOOD YES..So they sprang into action & started to take orders..& even opened up a 2nd till to handle all us that had formed the cue..this was just getting to place my order..& it got better..or worse ..we then got the "can I take your order".."would you like"..NO.LISTEN..TAKE MY ORDER. If you're having a good day don't go here unless you have too..One day I may have a good experience here,when I do I will share it..but dont hold your breath..you will probably die before I have a good...

Some of the service crew are incompetent and ive seen many of the staff standing around checking out their reflection in whichever shiny thing they stand in front of as your waiting to be served and then they speak to you like doom and gloom. Which ruins everyones day and brings down my energy, Only some not all the staff, (you know who u are so pull your socks up!) *also some staff are extremely fast, on the ball and seem to have passion for their work and I love that! And a bubbly, happy, positve NICE person with top notch energy makes anyones day great!. (You know who you are and keep up the great work) *Food is usually tasty if you pick it up and order at drive through and bring your own crate of salt *Though if delivered down the road 2 mins away..it's guaranteed to be frightfully cold and that's disappointing, every single time! I have given up on delivery, these orders are so easy to fulfil within ample time but it's not usually the drivers..unfortunately it's the staff which the food is mostly never ready or they aren't at the delivery desk. So there you have it!, Maccass used to be top notch..I don't know...
