To begin with we are a local couple live in the Randwick central area. We ordered a crispy chicken aioli wrap and a classic angus large meal with order details

We were watching the crew trainer making the crispy aioli wrap on the food bench and he did not have crispy chicken patty in the tray so instead he put mc chicken patty in the wrap and started wrapping it. Ive noticed that as its incorrect order and i advised the kitchen crew member that if he dont have a crispy chicken patty ready then we are happy to wait one is cooked but please dont give us what we did not pay for.
To which the kitchen crew obliged and requested his fellow kitchen crew to cook a crispy chicken patty for the order.
The manager Paras on shift was unaware of this because he was not in the kitchen at that time. While the crispy chicken patty was being cooked my food classic angus was made and left at the heating area.
I requested the manager to make my food again because by the time the crispy chicken wrap (it takes 8 to 9 minutes too cook and prepare) is made my food will get cold.
The manager started to rudely address by saying that “ dude I know you worked at maccas” to which i said it should not matter if work at a bank or anywhere. I am your customer and your crew made a mistake to which you are responsible to correct them and deliver the customer right food and keep it simple.
Me and partner were apalled by the managers rude and inappropriate behaviour at the counter in front of the 4 other customers.
We are absolutely disgusted and disappointed because this store had better managers and we never had any issues.
This particular manager has failed to showcase leadership while one of the kitchen crew member was laughing out loud along with the manager and creating a hostile environment to the young crew in training on the front counter on the shift . Manager paras did not de escalate the situation instead he has escalated the situation into a argument when the simple question from a customer was “ will you pay full amount for the food you order and receive incorrect and cold food “ his answer was wish you have a good night.
Coming to McDonalds brand standards and values for managers in a management team. This is appalling, this manager has downgraded maccas standards in every level and his shirt untucked, buttons off and as seen in the picture he previously worked with a long hair making food in kitchen with incorrect gloves.
I will like to report this to you and keep an eye on next time and do not hesitate to report to council if no action is to be taken.

Don't make the same mistake as me. I trust too much and get burnt! I have been burnt 5 times and now i'm pissed. First few times I was like fair enough mistakes happen, but happened again and again. Even when its super quiet they still making basic mistakes on customised orders. Unfortunately this is the closest place to me. From now on i will be pulling everything out of the bag at the counter and inspecting it for mistakes. in this day and age you should never ever have to do this. It's Basic meal prep. The directions are on the box! legit says a double! but they serve ya a single. why stick those notes on the boxes if you aren't even going to read them. PISSED!!!

Read moreOne of our orders ("takeaway" ordered at a terminal, collected from the counter) was missing a spoon for a sundae, so my friend went back to the counter to get a spoon for me. For some reason, the staff member insisted on coming all the way out to our table, right up close, to check that we had in fact purchased a sundae that was missing a spoon.. There was no misunderstanding, she knew he had asked for a spoon for a sundae that came with no spoon. She just refused to provide the spoon until she confirmed we had a sundae with no spoon. She then gave my friend a McFlurry spoon for my large sundae instead of the normal long-handled spoon.
Perhaps they were so busy verifying missing spoons all day that they couldn't keep up with the orders. Everyone had drastically long wait times. 15+ minutes for standard items in McDonald's is beyond excessive.
