TLDR: In reply to the owner - One of your wait staff were wearing a mask, if you feel that is sufficient or your staff is adamant they're not infected then certainly. I certainly had to get tested after coming here and to be honest, any open business should be open to constructive feedback and future patrons should be aware of what they're going in for not have I 'attacked' in any way. Furthermore, it is the responsibility of the staff to ensure check in is made and you're fully vaccinated (?!). To be honest, prior to my experience post lockdown, you'd think small business would really take check in and masks seriously...Meeting Morgan certainly didn't. On this occasion, 7 visible floor staff and one who worked in the back - literally 1.5 of this wore a mask, 1 who worked in the back and 1 girl had it on her chin while on the floor serving. You know in a small neighbourhood or for visiting patrons it doesn't make the place seem safe to dine at, I was actually very disappointed. NO ONE to govern check ins or check vaccinations. I was here for 1.5hrs and I certainly would not recommend this place and would get tested. I recommended this place as I've tried their food pre COVID with friends and was nice and this time around the food was not bad but the overall experience was not good. The service from one waitress was particularly poor, but the rest of the girls were lovely. Food price and taste was on the affordable side otherwise coffee was mediocre, the big breakfast was great and so was the juice.

Been here for a few years now. It used to be an easy recommendation 5/5, but recently you can see that the average score rating has ‘dipped’ a bit to just 4/5. I think the main reason for the dip is that the service isn’t as good as before. When I went to eat recently, I had to proactively wave for a waiter to acknowledge that I would like to place an order. (This was during the weekends though so it was quite packed) The quality of food and ‘value’ hasn’t changed that much over the years I think. It’s still adequately priced I think. Expect to pay around $20/meal give or take. Tastes wise, it’s standard and nothing out of the norm. Still a relatively nice place to visit if you’re a local, but just make sure to have realistic expectations. If you’ve been here before a few years ago though when service was better, be prepared to expect a slightly worse experience than before.

I visited Meeting Morgan with a group of foodie friends for a weekend breakfast and it was a feast for the eyes as well as the belly. The dishes were all so vibrant and plated nicely too. I enjoyed the Dukkah Eggs which was poached eggs topped with dukkah served on top of beetroot hummus and rocket with chorizo, avocado, pita bread and chilli oil. I struggled to decide between that and the Labneh & Zaatar Eggs, which was soy linseed with labneh, cherry tomatoes, radish, poached eggs, feta flavoured with zaatar, mint and pomegranate. Fortunately I managed to steal a taste of that from my friend and thought it was deliciously creamy. I would order both dishes again, or go for something sweet on my next visit like the pancakes or waffles. The cafe has an al fresco dining area with a cool vibe to it and parking was easy which is always a huge plus for me!

I was looking forward to finding a new cafe to frequent as the menu looks nice and they use campos coffee. Unfortunately my first visit here will be me last. I asked before ordering if I could use Hey You app for ordering food and coffee for table service. I was told I could do so. My order was missing the haloumi cheese I paid extra for. Bringing this to the attention of the staff I was rudely questioned as if I was lying about not paying extra for the haloumi cheese. Then I was told that I was not allowed to use Hey You for table service by the same lady who appeared to be in charge on Monday January 28th Australia Day public holiday. Unacceptable to mislead customers like this and will lose many more customers if they keep doing this kind of practice. Coffee tasted like watered down milk and food was overpriced. Customer service experience was inconsistent between staff and overall below average.

EDIT: having read your reply you seem to deny the fact that your manager told me it was ok to use hey you the app to sit down and order table service. She and I BOTH know for a fact I was told it was ok to sit down and order via Hey You app, and hence that's why I did, as I would not have bothered otherwise and there are plenty of cafes open on public holidays worthy of my money other than yours! I did not appreciate your rude attitudes on the day nor my haloumi cheese that I paid for that was only reluctantly given to me when I had to ask and rudely get questioned for. She even denied the fact that I paid for them. So glad this is on google so everybody could judge for themselves what dishonest business model you carry. The fact that you so arrogantly speak of yourselves only convey disgrace for your team and I could only feel sorry for the staff who work there.

As for appreciating those who work on public holidays, yes to those who deserve it. In your case, attitude and rudeness is not something I appreciate and you deserve zero respect from me and all of my friends. consider yourselves written off in our books and...
