Mike's Grill & Bar Engadine — Restaurant in Sydney

I had my daughter’s first birthday on Aug 2022 at Mike’s and the staff is absolutely AMAZING. I wanna give a big shout out to Jade. She took care each and everyone of us and ensure that we were happy, our food were delivered to the right person and even came to our tables to take 40+ orders individually. Daniel, was another staff that I wanna mentioned. He was very understand and helpful. He helped us to disposed all our balloons and even asked the staff to stop popping it when my daughter got scare of the balloon sound. And last but not least, the owner, George, he was super accommodating and understanding. He allows us to stay at the restaurant until after hours so that we could decorate the venue for my daughter’s birthday party. On top of having great staff, the food there was amazing too!!! All my guest were commenting how good the appetite and the steak was. As a matter of fact, my guest was saying that she may do her 70 birthday party at Mike because of how good the service and food were.

So sad this place has cut corners over the last 3 months or so with purchasing and serving inferier 2nd rate produce and serving smaller portions to save money. I accept ingredients have gone up but you can absorb costs/prices like the customers has had to do , or even charge more if need be ..But instead you have chosen to just drag your once quality product and reputation to a level on par or below that of any run of the mill pub or club in the area. A good place for a family meal - we had window seating as requested with plenty of room at the table for the five of us plus a wheelie walker . The highlight of the evening for our granddaughter were the white cockatoos on the rail near the Woollies dock . Our order came without us needing to wait long .
