This Chinese restaurant has been running for quite sometime in the heart of the shire located only 10-15 minutes walk from Miranda train station, a very friendly neighbourhood!
This restaurant highly customer service focused. The owner is always greeting us, always super friendly & attentive.
No one was in the restaurant, due to COVID-19 it had dropped the numbers of customers which is really sad. I hope it picks back up soon!
The dishes were yummy! We just ordered a mix of everything. The chicken was a little dry tonight but everything else was delicious.
My favourite dish was the vermicelli prawn/seafood hotpot, but I didn’t order that today.
Tonight there were some screaming in the kitchen, I am not sure what had happened. It caused a bit of tension and awkwardness in the restaurant which made us slightly uncomfortable, but the lady waitress handled it very well and apologised to us, as she knew we were feeling a little awkward (I am sure this won’t happen again) as it can get very stressful in the kitchen.
But this restaurant is normally quiet and the staffs are usually humble & always putting on a friendly face.
It isn’t that far from the Westfield. You can always go shopping or have a coffee afterwards!
Regardless what happened tonight, I would still highly recommend this restaurant.
The food is always delicious! The customer service is spot on! The location is perfect! And it’s a family...
Read moreWould give this place zero stars if I could. My favourite Chinese place in sutherland was closed and I've had man lin wah, so I thought I'd give miranda Chinese a go. My go to is seafood laksa which wasn't on the menu but prawn laksa was there at $22.90. I called and they said they'd do a seafood laksa, and I didn't ask for a price because I like to know what the integrity of the place im getting food at is, and in my 30 years of eating this dish it has always been cheaper or at worst the same price as the prawn laksa. Anyway I walk in and she says $25.90, excuse me haha and then tries to justify it because I got a lot more stuff, well no a few extra prawns (if I got prawn laksa) were substituted by a few little bits of squid and fish, photo attached. What a way to treat a new customer no wonder the place was absolutely dead, but the laksa can still redeem itself if it taste good. Well no wonder she didn't care, she knew I wouldn't be back because this food is absolute garbage, doesn't even taste like laksa. What the hell is going on in that kitchen, a simple Asian meal cooked poorly by a place thats been operating for ages, the place deserves to be shut down. If you're in the area go to any other Chinese restaurant, the good reviews on here are obviously from their...
Read moreMy family is a regular of this restaurant. I placed an order of 6 dishes for take away and rang ahead for pick up. The restaurant advised a wait time of 45 mins. We turned up after the advised wait time and was told the order was not ready and that more waiting will be required. (However, front desk was unwilling to check with the kitchen how much longer I will need to wait). We patiently waited for another 45 mins before I asked for another update and was then told that the kitchen was unable to make 3 out of the 6 dishes. I was asked to select alternate dishes after 1.5 hours from the time of order and found out then that they have not even started the order yet. The restaurant was not apologetic and only gave me a "There was nothing they can do about it" attitude. Of course we cancelled the...
