very disappointed.. wouldnt make a simple substitution - if you're making fresh naan, a naan instead of a can should be cheaper for you. the naan we got was not garlic naan as requested. curries, particularly the meat ones, tasted weird. i didnt even pick the butter chicken because it looked old and they didn't bring a fresh one out, should be rotating a popular dish regularly, not handing out scummy old bits of chicken because you technically have enough sauce to fill a container..

service was ok, i felt bad putting the point of sale on the spot with questions about substitutions etc, service is much better than it used to be. in an area with such diversity of authentic indian and nepalese venues in the kogorah rockdale area, don't waste your time with this commercial reheated, store bought slop

edit: my palak paneer had 4 pieces of paneer... srsly.. i dont want slop sauce on rice. i could just reheat 2 packs of sunrice microwaved rice (because the meal was 90% rice) and throw some frozen spinach at it.. i wanted flavourful authentic curries. you charged me for the non vegetarian 3 pack because i took one meat based curry, but the vegetarian ones i wanted were woefully underserved. as i said, im disappointed because i came back after you seemed to get rid of the girls who float between the hurstville store (assuming related), their service put me off for years.. but you served me 4 pieces of cheese, a half of a potato and i will admit, a decent serve of the rogan josh because i guess you stewed the tenderness right out of the lamb so you had to get rid of...

I have always been a genuine customer with MIRCHI , But today i am just not happy with the service . My Partner bought some food on his way back to home from the station That was rice and curry , chicken chowmein and 3 piece of samosa,

Apparently he was only handed one bag with rice/curry and chowmein yet there were no SAMOSAS.

We tried ringing them just to confirm and we were been told it was given yet he might have left it some where. We got a call after few minutes saying we can come to pick the samosa, The moment we reached the girl in the cash counter acted as if we were trying to get something which was already been taken, Despite its the matter of $7.50 but its all about CUSTOMER SERVICE. Why in earth we would lie for a 3 piece of samosa???????????

Infact they could have investigate rather than making us feel insulted infront of all the customers and kitchen staff.

I AM NEVER GOING BACK TO MIRCHI AGAIN !!

Very Nice Food when you get it fresh and hot. I’ve never had a fresh serving from this Restaurant because they don’t Cook enough at one time except when I took these extra photos. It’s very similar to home made and cooked food that your Mum or Grandma would’ve Cook on the Stove. Very Tasty and Pleasant if you like Braised Stews or Casseroles for example as I always get Rogan Josh Lamb and Rice.

They just need to up their game and this could be the Best Value Flavoursome Restaurant in Kogarah. Could Be Better but is still Very Good when you get the food cooked straight away. Atmosphere a little plain but who cares as you’re there for the food.

Always a good place for the closest to home cook food without Restaurants High Prices.
