I often walked past this cafe and I loved the coffee aroma coming from the inside. It reminded me of the times I was in San Francisco many years ago, sipping on "French roasted," coffee. So one day I purchased my favorite, a strong flat white. And boy, did it really hit the mark for me. It had a little froth on top, and a strong taste to my mouth, but it was not bitter. I thought it would be, In fact it was like a nutty flavor. So I have been going there ever since, for the last 2 months. In the mean time I have found out from Lucy, the owner, that she is a pastry chef, and she makes all the cakes, in house. What a surprise. I tried a raspberry, coconut muffin, and it was really delicious. It was not sweet, allowing the flavor of the raspberry to shine through, while the texture was not overly moist, allowing me to really savour all the incredients therein. Nice one. There is a wide range of food available, from hot food, bagels, salads, and of course cakes. Lucy also makes real croissants! Yummy. When you are in Kogarah next, give the Regency Cafe a try. It is located next to the railway station, and the Kogarah shopping centre....

Little cafe across from Kogarah station on a road intersection. Despite the location, it wasn't as noisy as I thought it would be.

Inside is small and minimalist and relaxing. The Lo Fi music was helpful. I also liked how there was an occasional light breeze that came through the cafe.

I had the Regency burger, it had haloumi and eggs. It didn't have beef patty which was good because I didn't feel too bloated at the end of the meal. I also had a nice iced mocha.

They had regular customers and the staff would strike a conversation with them when...

Best coffee in Kogarah! (and there are a lot of options, in fact it’s the furthest one from our office but we still make the journey, it’s worth it!) …alongside stay handsome maybe, depending on your taste in beans… Consistent, efficient, Little marionette beans, competent barista and front counter staff. Food is excellent and something you won’t get elsewhere in Kogarah, with a nice fusion touch, staff will remember you and your order quite quickly, which is...

Wow...Always freshly baked in store , Muffins and Almond croissants are really exceptional. Buttery, crispy yet pillow-soft, light, and airy such a delightful texture and flavor. It doesn't come cheap and often sells out,so try and get in early in the mornings. $5.5 Muffins & $7 for the Almond croissant (my favorite) the coffee is pretty good too. The pastries is definitely the star of the show. Service is quick, friendly & pleasant and the pastries exceptional.

A lovely little Cafe in the centre of Kogarah, right across from the station. The coffee is really well made with a rich taste and excellent extraction. Latte art is pretty good too. There is a small amount of seating inside and a little more outside along the street. Staff are super friendly, always greeting you with a big smile.
