Mix Pizza Bar — Restaurant in Sydney

I've ordered pizza twice since the new owner took over. First time I ordered a half pepperoni and a half cheese pizza and he wanted to charge $5 extra for a half half even though half the pizza was just cheese. I've just ordered again today and they stuffed the order up from 2 medium pizzas and a garlic bread and can of drink and 4 pizzas show up including a Nutella pizza and a garlic pizza. I tell the delivery guy that the order was incorrect and he was nice and said to take 2 of the pizzas and he took the other 2 back because it would have been another hour to wait for the correct pizza to show up as my kids were hungry then the owner calls and asks me to pay for the pizza. This person has no idea on how to run a business. They make a mistake on the order and then expect you to pay for it. Then he has the hide to say he won't take my order again. His such a tight wod he won't even admit when his made a mistake and just cop it for making a mistake like any other business. I feel sorry for the staff that work under him. I will not be giving business to such a deluded...

Just went to order a few medium pizzas and was informed that they don’t do half and half on medium pizzas, only large. So I hung up and called another place and spent $100 there instead.

Pizzas are really good though, but this is Australian customer service focus at its finest! If you’re willing to let a customer walk because it’s too hard to figure out how to sprinkle different stuff on a base that is a few cm less diameter than the next one (which makes absolutely no sense when you really think about it) then business must be booming! What cost of living crisis? Hilarious.

Unfortunately we won't be back. Our family likes different things so not even entertaining doing half/half on anything less than large means we'll go elsewhere as large is too much. We literally found a place that does it on medium pizzas down the road now anyway. Strange business model if it a few centimetres makes a huge difference, but hey, it's...

The two people reviewing below were new customers at Mix Pizza. They placed their order with menulog online yet they say staff were rude. Impossible and a direct lie as no staff spoke to them. They had very specific instructions written on the order sheet from the computer. They said they wanted their pizza extra cooked and extra crispy but the cheese had to be brown. Wow they must live in a different universe. No shop in Australia can meet their needs. As you can see by the photo with all the extra cooking its hardly singed on just a cheese pizza. They rang menulog 24 hours later to complain demanding full refund instead of ringing the shop and asking us last night to rectify the problem. Our customers can be the judge as they will tell you two that we always try to help our family of community. We dont want customers like you that fabricate the truth. Thank you but...
