Went here on a Sunday morning to get a breakfast meal, for two people to eat here just with a meal,x2 juices and a coffee spent over $120.00.
They took so long with bringing the food out I thought they were laying the eggs themselves.
One of the meals was a smashed avocado. One slice of bread, one poached egg (one I know right), avo and some cherry tomatoes which were either out of season (me being nice) but the cherry tomatoes did not taste great.
Spent about 5minutes ordering making sure with how many hash browns I wanted. Btw the new person was standing next to the manager while I made sure I explained the amount of extra hash browns. When the food was delivered my extra hash browns weren’t on my plate. Not a big deal I just said can I have my extra hash browns. They took my whole plate of food away for over 5 minutes then had the manager tell me I didn’t order them printing out the receipt and explaining how I didn’t order that. I was trying to explain to her that’s ok I’d just like to order more if that’s the case. But mid sentence she cut me off and going on about how I was wrong and she’s right but I honestly didn’t care just make me some and I’ll pay for it lol.
Poor effort from management to resolve a small problem. But when they charge an arm and a leg for the most mid breakfast on the beaches you’d expect some quality.
Anyways I paid for the extra hash browns but will not recommend to my friends or family to come here. Poor management and poor...
Read moreBeautiful setting No wheelchairs access unless you can navigate a 150 step independently No outside table service QR code (which i good with). First table assistance was overwhelmingly helpful (big shout out to her)
I took my ‘invalid’ mum to the loo. (No mean feat in the tight space used for storage and beer kegs) While at the loo our table was cleared away, my lunch, my wine and mums scone. My 90n yr old mum is slow with mobility and there is no proper invalid access to the loo or room to move (which they claim to have) BTW my purse and car keys were on our table to show we were returning (as there was no one to tell) When we returned these were at the counter - When I advise we went to the loo” the reply was “I thought you’d left’ (without key and pursed?) Ok, let’s say it was a fair assumption but, ………………….. No apology or offer of replacement food ZILCH care factor!
I had to ask for my purse and keys back and our table was gone to a new larger group of 6 - I was made to feel like it was my fault rather than a misunderstanding
It’s not the mistake guys it’s how you didn’t handled it - an apology would have been nice rather than an excuse
Your site advertises wheelchair access, there is a 150 mil step at start of ramp no access to the ramp from the lawn area and no turning area for mobility devices even when the mobility challenge manage to get inside
Compliments to the food (what we got to tasted) but feel very robbed! ‘I’ apologise...
Read moreI’ve come to Sydney for a dear friends wedding this weekend. I stopped into this cafe for breakfast. Believing the reviews that it’s a good place to eat and it’s very unlikely I would likely eat something I can’t.
I ordered an item on the menu, without onion in it, in this case being the eggs Benedict.
After expressing its importance that no onion is in the meal even though it’s not in the eggs bene normally.
The meal tasted great, I enjoyed it! But the proof is in the punch I guess...
Clearly the cooking utensils or grill/equipment weren’t cleaned and some cross contamination has entered my meal. This happened just hours ago and I’ve to the toilet 6 times already and I’ve vomited once.
I haven’t been this sick in nearly 5 or 6 years. I’m hoping I’m still going to be able to go to the wedding still :(
EDIT: i was able to go to the wedding but i couldn’t really eat or drink anything and i was sick and almost planted to the toilet for the rest...
