PARTY REVIEW UPDATE - So we held our daughter's 13th birthday party (with 14 teenagers) in the courtyard at Mrs Pasta and couldn't have asked for a better host, food or venue. We had the best night.......thank you so much team!! The atmosphere was amazing, the food was sensational, but best of all Angela made it so simple for me. Her communication and helpful ideas were fabulous. Angela was organised well before with pre orders from the teens, she set up a gorgeous drinks table for the girls, let my daughter connect her birthday play list through the restaurant speakers (apologies for the Taylor Swift overload everyone else) served beautiful food, and even made the red velvet birthday cake in house! If I could give more than 5 stars for Mrs Pasta, I would. Thank you so much Angela, Issac and team. We will see you again and highly recommend you to everyone.

Just tried Mrs Pasta for the first time and will definately be going back. It was outstanding! The owner Angela is also the chef, and her authentic homestyle cooking is absolutely delicious. The homemade gnocchi melts in your mouth, the cheesy garlic bread enticed us all back, even after we were full, and Angela's signature sauce is a must try. Issac's home made tiramasu is also worth a trip. With so many choices on offer we are looking forward to trying some more. The ambience adds to the experience with festive decor and lights, friendly staff and quick efficient service. I love finding a new local restaurant that surpasses your expectations. Most Recent Review We went back for our meal, some 5 months later before a Show & the standard at Mrs Pasta is STILL right up there!!! Each meal prepared with home-made love & great taste!!! 💯 We tried the pork schnitzel with eggplant parmigiana sauce & meatballs with pasta 🥂 The best we have EVER eaten, once again!!! Mrs Pasta would HAVE to be the BEST ITALIAN restaurant in Sydney, hands down 👍 !!!! If you don’t believe me - try Angela’s cooking at Mrs Pasta!!! I can’t recommend this place enough, a gem like this hidden on Darling St, Balmain. ✅✅✅✅

Earlier Review Walking along Darling St, Balmain on a Sunday evening we had dinner at Mrs Pasta. What an extraordinary surprise!! I can tell you the food we had was the finest home-cooked Italian meals you will EVER find in Sydney!!! I should know. We had the calamari entree, then a salad each (extremely generous servings) along with the crumbed cutlets - bellisimo 💋💋💋 The ambiance in the back garden, where we had our meal transported you back to Italy with the glorious Italian soundtrack, quietly wafting in the background. We are visiting Sydney from the States and my gf wanted pasta bolognese, after sifting through all these pretentious “5*” Italian restaurants/menus online, I came across Mrs Pasta in Balmain and it might be our favorite pasta spot we’ve tried anywhere in the world!

Mrs Pasta herself greeted us and gave us a thorough history of her beautiful restaurant, recipes, and cooking passion. You should come eat here to chat with her alone, she’s a wonderful woman with an incredible gift creating memory sensory meals!

We tried the pasta bolognese and pasta carbonara, which were both incredible. The bolognese sauce hag great flavor and was filled with meat. The carbonara sauce was thick and heavy like it should be, We also tried the meatballs, which taste identical to most true Italian grandmothers meatballs. They were delicious and light tasting. They are a must.

The decor was so pleasing to look at, it’s very Bohemian meets Old Country Italy. The back room seating area is such a vibe and if you are lucky you might get serenaded by the beautiful birds.

Living in America, I may never get a chance to eat here again but I sincerely and honestly urge you all, if you are reading this review and craving pasta, please go try Mrs Pasta…you will...
