If i could give ZERO stars i would. My Manager and i had a horrible and sad experience today from the Manager Rachel herself from the macarthur location. We had ordered food for pickup today and once receiving on our lunch break we were shocked. For the price we paid it was ridiculous. The halloumi was rubbery and undercooked, the bread was stale, portion of chicken on the bread was an absolute joke and the chips were cold and old. If that wasn’t bad enough half way through eating as i took a bite a strand of dark black hair was in between my teeth. If i wanted stale, old and food that feels like it may break my teeth and has a texture of a tyre i would've opted for cheaper options. After this experience we called the store and was told to come down for a refund. On arrival whilst waiting to be served, my manager who wears a religious head scarf was eyed out by the workers and we were ignored attention. As we were waiting we can see the kitchen and were discussing how unhygienic the worker was being, she had wiped her nose with her hand as she was flipping the chicken, scratching her arm and her ass. We were telling each other we would never come back here again. We were served and was told they would get the manager. The lady who was scratching her ass whilst cooking approached us and we were shocked to say the least. She told us she can only refund us for the halloumi as there was no way there could be hair in the food and she insisted the food was fresh making us out to be liars. The hair was probably from scratching her ass. My manger said to not worry about it after going back and forth for a good 15 minutes, as my manager left the situation Rachel the manager at this location said i could have a full refund. After my manager who is scarfed left. She sat there arguing back and forth treating us like liars for 15 minutes not giving us a refund but as soon as my manager left she all of a sudden wanted to issue a full refund. Read moreI recently visited Nando's at Macarthur Square, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. From the moment I walked in, it was clear that the staff were not interested in providing good customer service.
Firstly, the restaurant was noticeably understaffed, which led to long waiting times even though it wasn't particularly busy. When I finally placed my order, the staff seemed rushed and inattentive, which left me feeling like I was an inconvenience rather than a valued customer.
The food itself was another disappointment. I ordered the classic peri-peri chicken, but what I received was far from the Nando's quality I was expecting. The chicken was dry and overcooked, lacking the signature juiciness and flavor that Nando's is known for. The sides were equally unimpressive, with the chips being soggy and the coleslaw tasting old and bland.
The cleanliness of the restaurant was also an issue. Tables were left uncleared, and the floor looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a while. This lack of hygiene made the dining experience even less enjoyable.
Overall, my visit to Nando's Macarthur Square was a huge letdown. The combination of poor service, subpar food, and lack of cleanliness means I won't be returning anytime soon. I hope management takes these issues seriously and makes the necessary...
Read moreI like Nandos and I consume it with my family at least twice a week. But this specific Nandos branch is sooo bad. Very rude staff, in particular the guy who was running it Friday June 21. They are understaffing, very capitalist move from the business, they want to recruit less to pay less money and hence transfer taking order activity to the customer without paying the customer money for that, just as they would pay someone who is taking orders, very inhumane move from a business that is sadly being adopted by more and more businesses.
So this is a big issue already, but what this Nandos branch does worse than anyone else on the globe is being rude. Instead of being nice when asking the customer to do your job, that guy almost shouted at me, which is funny and sad at the same time. I took my family and went to Narellan's branch and had a brilliant experience just as usual. They have the amazing refillable drink option and the nice people that you would want deal with with.
I believe the owner is more generous as well happy to recruit and help more people, and more people working means alleviating stress and pressure off them which in turns translates into more polite people.
