Unbelievably rude concierge.
Bookings were made for 2 families for dinner.
We arrived to be greated by the lady on the front desk who clearly had experienced a bad day or something. She started barking at me about me needing a new card, but never explained why. It is because of a recent merger of the club and seemed to make a big deal about it but this could have been explained politely when the card was presented. She then launched into telling us in no uncertain terms they dont really want kids there, ranting and raving about inside and outside rules. I said without that outside area we maybe wouldnt come, she then replied something like suit yourself with a shrug of her shoulders. The quote was "if we had our way we wouldn't have the outside area at all".
The rest of the staff serving were polite, very nice and very accommodating. We have been at the club a number of times and this was the worst experience.
We won't be going back and will let our family and friends know to stay away. Clubs like this are nearly going under yet they treat their Members like this? Food was average for the...
Read moreWe recently moved in tot he area and thought we try out the NBC at Northmead. Firsly we had trouble parking and ended up having to park 500m awy in a side street off Windsor Rd. We were able to find a table in the bistro away and ordered our meals using the QR code on the table. After about half an hour one of our mains came out. After another 15 minutes or so I went to the counter to find out where our other meal was. The friendly girl behind the counter informed me that the kitchen had only received one order for out table despite two meal orders being in their system. Yet another 20 minutes passed an so we approached the counter again to find out what the dealy was only to be told that the kitchen had not started to prepare the second meal yet!! We wife an I left the club, one oof us starving. I suggest staff revise their QR ordering system to ebsure this doesn't happen to other patrons. I would lao suggest the club look at extended the car park to accommodate more guests. We were very unimpressed with our first, and might I add ONLY visit...
Read moreReally nice club, the new outdoor kids area is fanatic. Food was truly lovely. Few let downs: Not a single smile. The staff we spoke to made it look like they really didn't want to be there. They were conversing away at the bar, acting as though they were in their own living room, few swear words got out in front of customers with kids. With exception of one young guy, who was polite, they all looked annoyed by having to work. The bouncing castle is sitting on irrigation system that made the castle suck up some water off the ground and spit it out on top making the castle very wet with puddles in some places. Prepare spare change of clothes.
Overall great place and I will go back but am always feeling sad for the owners when I see that they spend the buck on renovation, bring on some extras for patrons, give a good thought to the menu and get a good chef but the people that are facing customer and should be the most hospitable...
