Had high hopes for this new café in Lindfield and thought they’d be good competition for Goodfields and Runaway Spoon, but unfortunately this place has a long way to go before they can truly compete with those other established cafés in the same vicinity. The decor is great and I can’t fault the service staff at all as they did a really good job in a new café. Unfortunately, I found the menu lacklustre and many items on the menu lacked certain elements to make them complete. Yes, I could add avocado or add an egg to a dish, but why isn’t it already included on the item? Many items on the menu seemed like that and made it frustrating to decide. I would rather pay more for a meal than have to add $5 for an avocado or egg… just not the best experience. We ordered the smash avocado and the eggs Benedict. Smashed avo is passable, but definitely some regret ordering, an egg with this item probably would’ve made it better. Eggs Benedict was good and probably what saved this review from getting one star. Coffee was great and enjoyed it, the serving of a latté in a mug was strange, but not the end of the world. Also the froth probably wasn’t the greatest (as per photo), but because the grind of the coffee was done right, it didn’t matter. Coffee for $6+ (80c oat milk) is pricey, but again the quality helped ease that. Not entirely satisfied with our experience, but we are locals and will definitely give this place another shot.

We often come here everytime we are heading to Central coast. However this morning, we had not nice experience with one of the staff. I was going to the toilet and this one young lady, black hair came to me said that I had to pay my bill. I was surprised because we are not finish yet, my partner still at the table having his coffee and I was going to the ladies room. When I want to pay to the bill, I gave a feedback to the young man at the cashier in regards that the other staff asked me to pay when I was going to the ladies room. And when we get into the car my partner told me that, one of the staff followed him for behind and reminded him to pay the bill. Both of us felt that it not appropriate and disrespectful. We don't know what you guys had experienced with customer before who didn't paid the bill. But never we have this experience with other restaurant/cafe. What we experience to us this morning, we decided not coming back. We can see new faces in the cafe. Probably they need more training for customer service, how to react, to speak never assume. It's very poor.

I gave this a 4 overall but really intend for it to be 4.5, as all the elements to score (ie food, service and atmosphere) are fitting of 5/5. Great cafe for the area, with a modern Western menu drawing inspiration from European cuisine, from baked Spanish eggs to Italian panini and pastas to Turkish flavours and ingredients and classics like eggs benedict and ricotta hotcakes. The food is consistently good, and service is helpful and professional. The fitout inside is elegant for a suburban cafe, and outdoors is covered making it a dependable option for all seasons. There are heaters on during winter. The only reason I didn’t give it 5/5 is because price is on the higher end for a cafe. Granted, it turns into a restaurant for dinner service so there is a duality at play. This said, the kids meals are good value. Pictured is takeout purchased to avoid weekend/ public holding surcharges. Made for a delicious picnic on the lawn adjacent to the cafe. Service brought it out to us which was appreciated.

This cafe is conveniently located. I went today for the first time as I wanted to have a coffee and a treat after work while my daughter was at a bday party nearby. I sat inside. I ordered a coffee and the almond and orange cake. I asked if I could have ice cream on the side. They first served me my coffee in a mug and a scoop of ice cream in a small coffee cup which made me chuckle. After waiting for 10-15 mins reminded them I had ordered the cake which they had forgotten. Eventually my cake came. Soon after one of the waiters proceeded to mop the floor around my table, and the inside area where I was sitting. I reacted to the product they were using and my eyes became itchy, red, stingy as well as my throat, it felt like it was burning. I couldn’t stay as the reaction was quite strong. I mentioned this to the staff I paid to and she apologised, I couldn’t drink my coffee. So I left it there. The coffee was watery but the cake was delicious . I was disappointed tbh, I expected a better experience, I did not feel valued as a customer in any way.. it sounds like other people have had better experiences here...
