LET ME POINT YOU TOWARDS YOUR NEW FAVOURITE RESTAURANT !!!
On hearing that the owner, Carl from “Manoshee” on Majors bay Rd at Concord had opened up a new Lebanese restaurant, I was really eager to try it out and last night was my first opportunity to do so.
On arrival my husband and I were warmly greeted by Carl who excitedly introduced us to some of his his family working within the restaurant with him. (which I love, by the way..)
I had prior booked a table for a group of 9 (...a good idea) and we were lead to an upstairs room. All of the staff were cheerful and accommodating to us through the entire evening.
There are a considerable amount of dishes on the menu to try and our group, with the help of the staff chose to go with a few of of the different banquet options. Then.... what I could only describe as a B O U N T Y was delivered to us... Both the meat and seafood options were abundant and traditional tasting and quite frankly, a little bit “next level”! We also had the “Samke Harra“ ( - fish in tahini), which I would walk through fire for again! There were also one or two dishes brought to us (off menu) at our groups request and we were graciously indulged. Overall, I would throughly recommend Little Beirutee restaurant for its flavourful dishes and it’s reasonable pricing but what I can’t recommend enough, is the attentiveness and friendliness of the staff, who GENUINELY wanted us to enjoy our dining experience with them . - Good work all of you - Congratulations Carl, a lot of blood sweat and tears I’m sure...

I genuinely don’t want to give such a poor rating, but I’m genuinely so disappointed in this place. I’ve had poor experiences here in the past but thought I’d try it again. Anyway tonight we ordered the meatlovers, the chicken shawarma and the chicken spinach pie. The meatlovers was sloppy and full of onion. The dough was underdone and the whole thing fell apart. The shawarma was more of a unusually spiced shish Tawouk roll - not shawarma at all? The pie was normal. . Guys, I know there isn’t much competition in the way of Lebanese restaurants in our area, but you really really gotta improve.
Please see the photo of the sloppy pizza attached. We had to...
Read moreFamily run cafe arriving mainly middle eastern (Lebanese? Turkish?) food, plus an array of Australian / middle eastern fusion dishes. I had a pizza style munoushee (a seasoned flatbread) which was topped with a delicous cheese, onion and sujuk. It was really tasty and the coffee was decent. It is a pretty well run family operation, there were a few small mistakes / delays but very friendly service and also the dips / . Maybe add a second counter/walk around iPad for the morning rush because my auntie was taking a while to order (deciding and asking questions) and holding up the queue for some people who probably just wanted a coffee. Definitely...
