considering how often I visit here, its almost shameful I hadn't already written this essay of a review as this is hands down my favourite cafe ever.

having essentially tried every other cafe in the area, I actually stumbled in here for the first time incredibly hungover years ago having a Sunday lunch catchup with my rents and ordered two items since the prices were so cheap (and I needed a disgusting amount of bacon in my body immediately) - rookie error. I could not believe my eyes when they brought out two of the biggest plates of food I had ever seen with the dishes arranged like I'd just gone to a fancy restaurant.

ever since then, they have looked after me with huge consistently delicious meals made with love, great coffee and amazing service as the staff are always so welcoming and up for a chat - and all this for a surprisingly affordable price. as far as I'm aware, they have upped the prices twice since 2021(cost of living crisis and all that) and it's still the best value in the area if not all of Sydney, it honestly astounds me. on top of this, they are happy to customize pretty much every item on the menu to suit your tastes/needs and even offer up suggested modifications to your order based on your previous requests (that usually somehow make it even more delicious).

do be warned - sometimes there can be a bit of a wait if you come during peak periods where crowds are waiting outside for their pain de sucre fix but it is always worth it and other times you'll be shocked at how quickly they pump out your order. in the past, I have preordered over the phone during peak periods so that is always an option. its also a relatively small space so while there is both outdoor and indoor seating, there's not always any available - all of this is very understandable considering how incredible this place is. I literally eat here 6 days a week and if they were open on Sundays,...

Lovely little local cafe, serving up everyday meals, with generous serving sizes, at crazy cheap prices! Think $5-15 for most things. STAFF: Lovely, kind and efficient. FOOD: Everyday food, like eggs on toast, salads, burgers etc. They have gf toast, almond and soy milk etc. The serving sizes along with how they plate up their food truly exceeds expectations. ACCESSIBILITY: Not wheelchair friendly inside: few stairs to enter. I suspect you could easily order from outside and stay seated outside. The toilets are up 10+ stairs, so likely not suitable to those with knee/hip etc challenges. LOCATION: Centrally located, alongside a number of other shops in the area. Minutes from the school, some side street parking available, most of it is...

Enormous meal serves for low prices but always leaves me regretting my breakfast decision. Waited 18mins for my coffee and 22mins for breakfast which wasn't a good start (and the place wasn't busy). Coffee was a touch bitter and food average. Prices are very reasonable and serving massive though. Flavours were a bit interesting on Eggs Benedict and they served it with a lemon wedge and orange slices which was bizarre but at least you couldn't taste the citrus sitting on top. If you want a cheaper breakfast than elsewhere in the area or a sandwich/salad it's passable...

Support Asian cafe in Sydney - If you are in this area, give a shot and try on this cozy local cafe. I am a traveler that happen to stay at in this area. And was looking for something simple for breakfast / brunch, lunch or even dinner around. Came across this gem. Very friendly staff and astounding value, portion size and food quality. If I didn't see it myself, I wouldn't have believed it. Great food, lots of vegetables, and a chef that evidently genuinely cares about their food. The plating and care taken was astounding for a cafe, even more so for the price.
