People's Burger Marrickville — Restaurant in Sydney

I had the worst customer service experience in Sydney yesterday at this establishment. I went with my boyfriend to get a burger. When we got there, there were parking spaces, but the employee rudely knocked on our car window, telling us we couldn't park there. Even though we tried to explain that we were going to buy something at his establishment, he said it didn't matter and that if we wanted to, we would have to park at a gas station (which would be disrespectful to take up that space without even wanting to put gas in the car). We parked far away and walked to get our food. We waited for everyone in front of us to get their food (which already took a long time). After that, we waited 15 minutes for our food to be ready. When we noticed that the two rude employees were leaning against each other talking, my boyfriend asked how long it would take since we were waiting in the cold. One of them, in a completely mocking manner, checked our orders and said they forgot to make ours, which honestly seemed intentional. My boyfriend and I were regular customers, but the customer service has gotten worse and worse, and now we'll never set foot in this establishment again due to the complete lack of respect, and we've also warned our friends not to return. So, if you're a consumer who appreciates respectful and polite service, this is definitely not a place...

I cannot stress enough the quality of the people’s burger truck. To start off with, the flavour profiles which homogenise together are nothing short of immaculate. The truffle burger simply combines high quality beef with a combination of jalapeños, red onion, cheese and an incredible truffle Mayo which brings a tear to my eye. This is my go to burger and a serious statement to all other burger trucks within sydney. The fries are generous and taste like a more premium McDonald’s fries which honestly hit different. I have seen this place all over socials lately and wanted to try it because at least they're doing something other than just your standard smashburger. Unfortunately that's where the good stuff begins and ends. I had the PB truffle burger and I think they must have run out of truffle oil the day they made the truffle aioli and it was supposed to be wagu beef but every single bite was tough, chewy, full of hard bits of sinew.
