Went for dinner there was a table of 12 we had the banquet which was a Greek menu which is held once a month The antipasto plate was uninviting. The breadsticks were stale The calamari soft & tastless . The main menu of the lamb was dry tasteless the so-called Greek salad had no olive oil, no vinegar no oregano the tomatoes were soggy and tasteless two people asked the waiter for olive oil completely ignored and had to go up and ask personally the desert loukoumathes two people tried them and said that they were the worst they’ve ever had. They even looked pale small hardly any honey or cinnamon. A lot of food was left over 12 people which were Greek will not return for the food. We visit the Phoenix every couple of weeks or so. The moussaka is to die for! It's the only place I know that serves a moussaka of that quality. The eggplant is caramelised and encrusted on the bottom of the serving dish. Delicious! We usually have the souvlaki too. The salads are very good as well.
