So unusual to get food this average in Sydney. we ordered the pepperoni pizza. First, the staff forgot our order, so we were waiting for an hour after our entree. Then they rushed out our pizza, which was visibly burned on top, but had a pale and undercooked base. For some bizarre reason, they load so many wet vegetables onto the pepperoni pizza that it was full of moisture when it came out, so within a minute the whole pizza was soaking wet and the base was soggy. Surely any restaurant serving pizzas knows how to avoid this amateur mistake.

The best pizza in Sydney !!!! Great place for a quick date night. Amazing pizza menu, generous toppings, well cooked, crispy base. Been coming here for years, huge gaps in between each visit but it’s always delicious. Can’t wait to come again. Better in winter as there isn’t any aircon. 1 large fan but it doesn’t do much so definitely sit outside or near the entrance. We had the lamb pizza & pepperoni. Super generous in toppings so you can share 1 pizza between 2 people.

I ordered a pizza for pickup at 6:15pm. The pizza was finally provided at 6:35pm with apologies for the delay. The pizza had a soggy bottom, over-cooked top and not hot. It would not surprise me if the pizza had been misplaced and when found, re-heated in the oven. Perhaps the worst pizza I have ever eaten. Very disappointing. $32 for a medium pizza that was not even enjoyable to eat. I won’t be returning to this local pizza shop.

In the heart of Sydney, like a shrouded vestige of Neapolitan nostalgia, Pizza Moncur serves up slices of heaven. It's an oasis of authenticity in a fast-food desert, run by passionate artisans determined to elevate the craft of pizza making. The star of the show? An unassumingly titled 'Duck Pizza'.

Oh, this is no ordinary fowl dish. The duck, succulent and tender, is the lead guitarist in a symphony of flavours, strumming chords of sweet, savoury, and smoky notes. A harmony of rich hoisin sauce, vibrant spring onions, and delicate mozzarella forms the base, bridging the gap between Italy and Asia with startling finesse.

The crust, an homage to the Neapolitan style, is airy yet crisp, slightly charred from the wood-fired oven, bearing a textural contrast that is just shy of wizardry. It's an edible epistle proclaiming the pizzaiolo's faith in 'less is more'.

Every bite is an insubordinate revolt against the tyranny of ordinary pizzas, whisking you away on a rhapsodic journey between East and West. Pizza Moncur doesn't just serve pizza; it's a place where you partake in a gourmet narrative, savouring each chapter, no, each word.

In a world obsessed with the next big thing, Pizza Moncur is a testament to doing one thing, and doing it right. It's a poetic, gustatory sonnet from the heart of Sydney to the soul of Naples, whispered across continents and epochs, landing on your plate as the...

Tonight we ordered a gluten free pizza, when it was delivered, it looked WAY smaller than the last ‘gluten free’ pizza we ordered only 2 weeks ago. We called the number available on the website just to check, was this gluten free or was this a kids pizza by accident, if it was, no problem, we would have popped it back! The guy who answered the phone who later referred to himself as ‘the manager’ was condescending, talking over me and repeatedly telling me the pizza was 11inches, 1 inch smaller than the normal pizza, if that were the case, it wouldn’t have been an issue and I wouldn’t be calling about a pizza!! but that wasn’t the case as the picture clearly shows and his attitude from the get go was vile to say the least! Out of principal we drove the pizza back and again were received with a manager rolling his eyes and telling me that I was wrong 🥱 and just being unbelievably rude in his responses. A little bit of advice, had you just said, whoops this one does look a bit smaller than usual sorry about that, there would have been no issue and we would have waited for another one…instead your ‘manager’ acted like a complete pork chop..the one thing that’s disappointing is that we have been told by other people about the poor customer service and had never experienced this ourselves until tonight. Just not cool pizza Moncur, it’s only a pizza at the...

We ordered Pizza Moncur for delivery while on holiday in Sydney. While out on a morning walk, we discovered their quaint location and knew we would need to order when they opened for dinner! Their online ordering application made for an easy quick process to get food. Pictures on their website really helped us select what we wanted. We ordered the Mushroom Pizza, Margherita Pizza, and Garlic Bread. The options for vegetarians are endless and we truly had a hard time choosing what to get. Our food was delivered in less than 30 minutes and it came hot! All options are highly recommended BUT the Mushroom Pizza was a “crowd” favorite. The Margherita Pizza was a classic version of this pizza. The Mushroom Pizza came loaded with different types mushrooms all with their own unique flavor profile that blended perfectly with the cheese and truffle oil. Make sure to order at least two garlic breads if you have a few people! The pizzas were decent size and could feed two people each. From what I can tell, you can’t go wrong with their selections. We will definitely hit this up next time we travel to Sydney. Thank you for the incredible food and quick,...
